16,000 gallon pool. Two months after purchase it works great! I put three 3 inch chlorine tablets with stabilizer in and opened the vent all the way. The chlorine levels went up to 6 ppm. So I closed it to two of the vents open it went down to 3 ppm. Its "winter" in south Florida (60's at night and 70's in the day) I would imagine when summer comes I will need to open it more to keep the levels. The price was $6.50 with free shipping prime which was half of the pool store. So I am happy that the price is right. Update 6 months later- I went down to two 3 inch stabilized tablets in 16K gallons. Now that summer is here in South Florida my Chorine is between 1-3ppm anything higher is for public pools, so this is perfect for a home pool that is used mostly by just the four of us. Kids can swim with out goggles and no red eyes. I replace two tablets once a week. No need to over fill the thing!! Two tablets max. (hey save some $) As long as your pool in between 1ppm-3ppm you will never have algea with low Phoso ,this is food for the algae so just also add weekly Pool Perfect with Phoso Free, weekly as well. (which makes the water sparkle, I cannot live without it). My pool now 6 months later is flawless and floater seems like new other then fading on the color but no change in performance.. No algae and its 95 degrees out and the hot hot sun daily beating down in Palm Beach. Just brush once a week, run pool pump six hours a day, and run my auto pool cleaner. No pool guy needed. Have not had to shock even once. No other chemicals needed. Just Clorine and Pool perfect for the perfect pool. Every time I go in to Leslie's Pool Supply to have my water tested the guys look upset that they can't sell me anything! ;)

Works great

This Swimline large capacity floating chlorine dispenser works great. It's large enough to fit four chlorine tabs inside, tabs that are 3" in diameter (the big ones). The underside that is under the water when it floats has a piece where you can adjust the amount of chlorine that's dispensed in the pool - you can have the maximum or minimum, depending on how much you need to be dissolved in a given time. The lid is easy to take on and off (a quick turn and you pull it up). It also stays on great so I'm not worried if it starts tipping (when the chlorine tabs get low) - that lid will not pop off easily in the water. GREAT product and the price is unbeatable compared to local stores! Obviously, it's a hard plastic and it will wear down over time (probably faster here in Arizona), but I'd definitely purchase this again in the future! Definitely recommended! It's a great, heavy duty dispenser!

This dispenser does exactly what it’s supposed to—holds a good number of chlorine tablets and keeps my pool water balanced. The adjustable flow ring is helpful for controlling the release rate. Only minor downside is that it’s a bit large and can get in the way while swimming. Still, it’s sturdy, reliable, and gets the job done. Great value overall!

This looks great floating in the pool! It’s perfect for a pool or spa. We use it for large 3-inch chlorine tablets. Since we live in Arizona, the sun and heat can be tough on plastic. I’ve had it for over a month now, and it has not starting to fade. Overall, it’s a great quality and a great value. It’s also easy to open the top and refill the chlorine tablets.

I've ordered several of these over the years and they all seem to have the same problem. After a year or two the bottom falls out and the tabs sink to the bottom of the pool. Nor sure how long they are designed to last.

This is a heavy duty thick made floater. Perfect size. The adjuster at the bottom of the floater is not cheaply made, it is easy to open and close. Great purchase and well worth the price.
