I think that after using this gimbal, this may be one of the better Gimbals that I have used. It takes a while to get to grips with all the features that this gimbal offers - there are a lot! The gimbal is easy to activate - just unfold it. I was impressed by how well the tripod legs work - they are quite small but work really well - they are springy and make it stable even in windy conditions. The form factor is very good, and the quick set up is great. I like the downloadable App - it has a great deal of features. Controlling is easy, the 360 Flow 2 Pro has a minimalist control area, allowing • Zooming • Scrolling • 360° Rotation • Shutter button (start / stop recording) • Switch button to change Landscape/portrait • Switch between front and rear camera The selfie mirror is very useful to let you set up your shots and allows you to see what will be recorded - although you can use your Apple Watch or a second linked phone. There is an indicator on the main arm to indicate when the unit is recording and a green light ring around the top of the gimbal handle to indicate when it is in follow mode. The stabilisation is very good on this model, and the battery life id great at around 10 hours. I also like the way that the gimbal has a USB-C output port to allow charging of my iPhone, as the battery on the phone depletes quickly when using it in video mode - I didn’t think I would use this feature that much, but I really like it and have used it far more than anticipated. I appreciated that the port is on the gimbal head, so it rotates with your phone and there is no problem regarding cable tangle. I have used a DJI OM7P and compared to this, I feel the Insta360 Flow Pro beats the DJI beats the DJI on most features, especially Tilt, Tracking and range of motion. The auto zoom and multi person tracking is really good too. I think that being an iPhone user, you get more features on the apps than you do if you are an Android user - so check before purchasing. In conclusion, this is a great gimbal, selfie stick, tripod and the software is quite incredible too.

Item returned as failed after only taking approx 6 photos. Then next time I tried to use it the gimbal head refused to engage.

I’ve used gimbals before, many times, and many different ones, and I have to say this it is up there with the best of gimbals I’ve ever used, especially due to its small size. This works with both android and apple phones, with a free app to download. It has an inbuilt rechargeable battery which takes less than an hour to charge and should last for up to 10 hours, which is ample time for your average shooting. The clamp which grips your phone connects to the tip of the gimbal by a strong magnet, making this easier to take off the gimbal if and when you need to. This has everything you need when it comes to recording steady footage whilst you’re moving, or your subject is moving. Plus something to rest your phone in when sitting at a desk, table or the like. Due to the clever way the tripod tucks into the handle. You can control a connected phone from this, controlling front or rear camera, scrolling, zooming, image mode and more It offers a full 360° Rotation and a tracking mode, so you can keep what you’re recording in shot even when it moves. Just use the app to set what your target is. The controls are on the handle and are easily reached using your thumb or fingers. So there’s no stretching and no need to stop recording to change a setting, movement or action. It’s all but silent when it’s moving around, which is great as it doesn’t spoil the audio of your recording. There are several other features on this which, as most things, become easier to understand and easier to use the more you use them. Trial and error, so to speak. I’ve already mentioned the tripod feature, with the three legs pulling from the handle, spreading out to create a tripod to sit this on a surface. There’s also a built-in selfie-stick which you pull up form the handle, rising in stages. This can be a little stiff at first but, once fully extended, it doesn’t drop on its own. In all, a fine, little gimbal which, although small, works remarkably well, offering easy recordings even when your subject moves fast. The tracking feature is one of the best I’ve ever used and the motion of the gimbal is as graceful as a swan gliding on the surface of a mere. As for the price, £144.99, this is money well spent if you’re into blogging, videoing, Instagram and other such hobbies. You won’t be disappointed with what this offers.

I have only really used gimbals from another brands, until using the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro, I had never used any of their products or gimbals before So I didn’t really know what to expect, but I had heard many good things about their products. This mobile phone gimbal is for both Android and iPhone’s, My review is based on experience with an iPhone only, I cannot comment on the Android compatibility. I mainly use phone gimbals for family holidays, capturing the moments and the sights while on vacations. This gimbal seemed perfect as it was a small compact size. I must say, using this, I am very surprised by the ease of use, straight out of the box, I am able to get professional looking smooth videos. This small gimbal has some fantastic features. The magnetic phone clamp/clasp is such a great idea, makes taking the phone on and off a breeze. The quality and features that have gone into this gimbal is so impressive, also the price is cheap, it’s far cheaper than others on the market. I’m happy and can hands down recommend for anyone. it makes your footage look professional, without the professional know how. In terms of the mechanics, the motors are quiet and smooth, it really does a great job making the video seem like you are gliding. The tracking feature is my favourite, that is amazing. Once you have the app on your phone, you can drag a square over the subject and it will lock on and track that subject. It really is that easy. I found the controls are easy to use and seem very responsive, it takes a little getting use to but it’s easy enough to pick up and use straight away. Other features I love are the tripod legs within the handle and the telescopic arm for selfie videos. No more needing to bring a tripod or selfie stick as it’s all inbuilt. Plus with the Ai video editing app, it’s an amazing tool for your phone. A highly recommended phone accessory you will enjoy using.
