Kitsch Castor Oil Shampoo and Conditioner Set for Hair Growth

This is by far the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used for my hair. Over the years, I’ve tried so many different products, but by the next day my hair would always feel greasy again. I’ve never found anything that cleans my hair so thoroughly while also leaving it shiny, soft, and smelling amazing with a beautiful coconut scent.For reference, I have long blonde hair that’s fine but have a lot of it, and with peri-menopause my hair has definitely been changing. This is the first product I’ve found that truly works for me.I honestly won’t use anything else now. It is a little on the expensive side, but it lasts a long time and is absolutely worth it. I would definitely buy it again.Buy it — you won’t be disappointed!

Not a long time ago I moved to Northern England and I suddenly noticed the difference in my hair. They were easily getting oily, the skin was itchy, after one day I didn't have any volume and what was the worst I was losing hair a lot (my hairbrush was full of hair).I tried the rice shampoo/conditioner and I noticed a difference. My hair feels more clean, I have volume again and they don't get oily and awful the day after I washed them.I use this shampoo/conditioner for a month already and will continue.I can't say that this shampoo/conditioner gave me a wow impression because I can still see e.g. dandruff on my hair or the volume is not that huge but water plays also a huge role with the hair quality and I didn't have these problems before in another country. So I advise to bear in mind also water quality. Therefore, the shampoo might be good but the water not and you can buy whatever high quality shampoo, if the water is not of good quality then the shampoo would barely fix the issue.

I love this shampoo so much that I ordered the duo pack to try the conditioner. Unfortunately only the conditioner was in the package.Using the Amazon chat service was difficult as there was only the option to say the whole order was missing, not just half of it.I’ve been offered a refund which is great service but I feel awkward as I have half my order and feel I’ve caused the seller a loss.I have reordered the shampoo bar as it’s a great product for menopausal hair. My hair feels the best it’s been in a long time.

Having been a long-term LUSH shampoo bar user, I wanted to give these a try. The shampoo bar was only okay. It made my hair feel kinda straw-like. Once I'd conditioned it was better, but I wasn't massively impressed. They also both smelled very much like rice (which maybe I should've expected), but I was wandering around worried I smelled like boiled rice! I tried this on my partner's hair twice and both times he became incredibly itchy, so it wasn't good for his scalp. (Everyone is different).The conditioner bar was better than expected and it definitely added 'slip' to my hair. It also was used up quicker than the shampoo bar. It didn't fall apart until the very last wash, really. I think over-handling the conditioner bar can cause it to fall apart.For a first try, not bad, but my hair definitely felt more rough and straw-like as opposed to healthy and shiny.

I was a bit dubious about this product, I didn’t think it would be any good. Usually with other products I’m washing my hair every other day but I’m on day 3 and my hair feels great not greasy at all and feels so soft

I have really thick hair…I mean I could use a bottle of conditioner every 2 weeks easily to help de-tangle and try to tame the frizz (from damage) I’m currently growing the damage out and have changed my entire bathroom routineThis shampoo bar and conditioner is INCREDIBLE and I mean INCREDIBLE my hair has never felt cleaner the conditioner bar helps to detangle and moisturise my ends without buildup and using too much the shampoo bar actually lathers in my hairI love this so much I bought my sister a sample packA sample pack for my other halfAnd I’ve also moved over to using their glycolic acid bar and an exfoliating barPurchased in April and we’re now in the second week of June and I’m nowhere near halfway through the bars…I think for once I may have to get more shampoo before the conditioner runs outSpend all your money on this stuff it’s incredible

I purchased the Kitsch shampoo and conditioner for my dry hair. The shampoo did leave my hair feeling clean, but I found that I had to use quite a large amount before it felt like I had actually applied enough product to my hair and scalp.Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the conditioner. It was difficult to distribute through my hair and didn’t feel like a conditioner at all. My hair didn’t feel moisturised or conditioned during application, and I didn’t notice much improvement afterwards.Overall, while the products may work for some people, they were not the best fit for my dry hair, and I don’t feel they provided enough hydration or conditioning.

I appreciate honest reviews. I'm the type of person who spends hours reading reviews before I bite the bullet and make the purchase. Like most people, I have seen this brand all over social media, but I dont trust "influencers" all the time, so I like to read unbiased reviews. So, here goes mine...I am a 40-something year old, color treated, 80% naturally and wirey gray, mid length, thick haired woman. The most concerning reviews of this product, to me, were the ones about people losing their hair. Second most concerning to me, the short lived bar life.As far as people losing hair... I know I'm going to get some people upset over this, and my opinion doesnt have to apply to everyone; however, I feel that if you are losing hair, there is a chance you are not using these correctly. There is no need to be rough. Simply paint your hair with the bar (I hope that makes sense). You dont need to lather it to death. You dont need a lot of product. You dont have to rub the bar into your hair and scalp. Run the bar over your wet hair, focused mainly up by your scalp, put the bar down (you got this, just put it down) and use your fingers to work it into your scalp. It will lather. Rinse. Thoroughly. Same concept applies with the conditioner bar. Paint it on. Focus on the ends. There should be no lather this time. Rinse. Thoroughly. Now, I am a Herbal Essence teen of the 90's. I like to load the conditioner on and leave it on for at least three minutes; this is drilled into my brain. Dont do that with this. Paint it on. Use your fingers to spread it. Rinse it.All of the above applies to the longevity of the bars, as well. I'll repeat- you dont need a lot of product, a little goes a long way. No need to work it to death. Also, get the bags for them, they do help. Store them properly, allowing them to dry back out. If you use a shared shower, but don't share bars of shampoo, dont store the bars where theyre going to get wet every time someone else showers. If thats a pain, these products may not be for you.As far as how my hair looks and feels.... I chose the Castor Oil shampoo and conditioner. I LOVE it. Love. Its heavy; hence the smoothing. If you have fine, thin hair- this probably isnt the one for you; try the rosemary biotin one. My hair has never felt or looked better and at my age, I dont say that about a lot of things. I have never really been able to air dry my hair because its a frizz fest if I dont blow dry. I dont have to blow dry with this shampoo and conditioner, my hair is smooth and shiny.Lastly, the smell is, ehhh. To me, it doesnt really have much of a smell, which is ok in my book. Its neither pleasant nor unpleasant and it doesnt leave a lingering scent after all is said and done.Ive purchased the rice water shampoo and conditioner bars to rotate between the two. My hair tends to get used to products and then get weighed down by them. I'll update this review once Ive tried those, in addition.

After 2 months of using, I have to say that this made my hair soft and I never had an itchy scalp! The conditioner also worked wonders for my hair too and its still not finished coz we only shampoo every other day. We are family of four and it lasted us for almost 2 months and I think this is more gentle and saved us more money than those bottled ones

I ordered a rice water shampoo bar almost a year ago and finally finished it. Hair is so much fuller and healthier, and it’s perfect for traveling. Couldn’t wait to buy another and test out the conditioner. This is the first conditioner bar that actually works!! Love it. But seriously how do they make money when the bars last so long?! They don’t fall apart like all the others..

Am very impressed by how good my scalp n hair feels after just one wash!
