Overall good but not the version I ordered.
Everything is mostly identical except the elevating leg rests did not have the push in snap pin system for extending the leg length as shown in the ad image. The version we got was a black pipe (not silver) fitted inside the blue one and you have to loosen a bolt and pull the footrest part out then re-tighten the bolt back in place. It makes the version we got harder to adjust and the black pipe could stand to be a bit longer for longer legged people who need to elevate their legs. The box was beat up to all hell, but the chair was otherwise in new condition minus a few loose bolts that had to be tightened. The "drive" stickers that were placed on the outer sides of the thin plastic armrest panels were peeling off (curling away from the plastic) which was fine I just took them off and tossed them. One of the elevating leg rests didn't want to go back down because the bolt was somewhat loose, which caused the bar to stay extended and the lever couldn't be pushed to get the mechanism to release. Thankfully loosening the bolt more made it so we could get the mechanism to unlock, push the leg back down in place and tighten the end bolt back in place. Otherwise it is exactly as ordered, funnily enough the item was ordered from home depot, as there was an invoice slip on the box. Had I known that home depot had these I would have ordered directly from them. Initially I placed an order from amazon and it was to be shipped from amazon directly and was cheaper but there was no shipping date. I called after 2 days of not having a shipping date to ask about the shipping as we needed the chair quickly. after speaking with a csr i was told I would hear something about the shipping in 48 hours. The next day I went to check on it and found the order had been canceled with no notice no reason nothing. This was the 20 inch one we ordered and there were no other quick options so after getting frustrated after talking with another csr who was not able to help me get it reordered from amazon and give me a date for arrival, I reordered on my own and chose the other shipper and paid 40 bucks more plus paid for shipping etc. it was a nightmare process and took over a week to get in addition to the 3 days of dealing with amazon. I am only adding the shipping info for others in case another family / person needs a chair in a hurry so you'll be aware of what we went through. It seems like a very sturdy chair and everything else was perfect, we only just got it so I'll give it a while and add to my review once we see how well it does for us. Overall I have faith in the drive brand, a bit frustrated by the difference in the elevating leg rests and the not quite long enough bar for the footrests when the legs are fully raised, but we can work around that. Otherwise I think it'll do us fine. Its a bit clunky and heavy for me I'm 4'10 so when I have to lift it into my truck for use in getting my Dad to his doctors it will be a momentary issue but I think considering what it does, how it is made, the ease of moving the parts, it'll likely do us fine. One thing to mention is that the armrest release is just a piece of plastic. I can see how long term that might prove to be annoying if someone moves those armrests a lot that thin piece of plastic won't likely last a long time or will wear down over time. ** Update Aug 2023 The chair was working well for us, Dad doesn't use it often due to his doing better, but it is very helpful for when he has to go long distances, or needs to have a seat anywhere we go if he gets tired. However, somehow on one use, a super tiny clip that held one of the leg rests together disappeared. I suspect from moving the chair and rests to and from the truck. I called Drive directly, and they sent us 2 brand new leg rests free of charge. I was grateful because that tiny little thin metal clip held the whole dang thing together and I was using electrical tape to hold it together but that made it's use much more difficult. I am SO totally impressed with Drive Medical for sending the free pair of leg replacements, they were caring, wanted to know what model it was for future chair updates and got me a new set of leg rests within 3 days. I'm updating my review from 4 stars to 5, their customer service was amazing and the new set of leg rests were also the type I had originally ordered with the push button adjustments, so that makes me very happy. I can't say enough good things about Drive after this experience, the man I spoke with was just amazing.

Excellent Wheelchair
Makes recovering from a broken leg a lot easier. Well made, sturdy, and easy to "drive." Was indispensable through numerous doctor appointments. The leg supports are easy to adjust and comfortable. The wheelchair folds easily and fits in a standard car trunk. Easy to maneuver around the house and fits through standard doorways.

Easy to Assemble, Solid, Made a Difference
I bought this for recovery from foot surgery. I was non-weight bearing for 16 weeks and used this chair solidly for about 2.5 months. This made difference in my recovery because I was unable to use a knee scooter. My house is older but the only door I could not go through was the bathroom so I recommend measuring every doorway before purchasing. Otherwise, it worked very well. I do have many areas where the paint needs touched up however but it is what it is. I did add a pillow to the seat after a week, it's not padded so I wanted something more squishy. I recommend a thick piece of memory foam. It was easy to fold and an adult can put it in the car. This was a game changer for my first 2 follow up visits. I didn't have to wait for someone to get me a wheelchair from the facility or worry they may all be taken. It would also allow people to go out shopping if they needed to. I wouldn't recommend for a long term use but for a period of time no longer than a year, I think it would serve the purpose well. Without being able to move around my home, my mental health would've suffered and I'm grateful for an affordable wheelchair, easy to assemble and operate to help me through a very frustrating and difficult time.

Totally worth the purchase
It is a smooth ride. I am a hefty girl but short (5'3") and it feels sturdy and reliable. My only complaint is the legs are short, which is saying something because i am all torso. I have a huge splint type cast on one leg and if I raise the leg like I need to, I have to fold away the foot rest or remove it entirely because my leg extends 6 inches past the longest point possible. I was hoping the foot rest would help protect my foot from being bumped but no luck. The brakes work great and it is just narrow enough to fit through doorways. Overall great wheelchair, the legs are just a bit too short

Fast ship and comfortable.
We have 3 other Drive products. this is very good quality for being out of the house. A little heavier than I hoped, but still manageable.

PERFECT FOR TEMPORARY MOBILITY!
A PERFECT inexpensive alternative to crutches for a week while navigating around the house! Unfortunately it arrived a day late ๐ก & the box was pretty beat up, but the chair was packed fine & in excellent condition. A rental would have cost more. While basic, it is very flexible & does everything listed in the description. It took less than 5-minutes to assemble & understand the features! I highly recommend this as an alternative to crutches.

Excellent wheelchair for a new user
I recently had to buy this wheelchair thanks to a knee injury. I made my choice solely based on how quickly it could be delivered to me because I was completely unable to get around my house. Luckily this chair is fantastic! Iโve been using it daily and I keep finding little features that make me more and more impressed with it. Itโs comfortable, rolls smoothly, and is not hard to push or use. I wish the back of it could recline a little bit otherwise itโs absolutely great and I highly recommend. I was hopping around with crutches before and now I can just cruise through my house!

Decent for the cost
My wife had foot surgery so is temporary unable to walk. The chair has been a life saver. Rolls smooth, lightweight and easy to fold. She finds it pretty comfortable except for a few flaws. The first it the leg pads. They do not sit flat once the weight of your leg is on them so your leg tends to want to roll off. There is no way to adjust this. The second is person dependent. She has long legs and found the length adjustment to be too short even when 100% extended. I do realize this limit exists so they don't hit the ground. Overall its a good product especially at this price point. I think the leg pad issue could be addressed with stronger material or ability to adjust.

Very well built
Excellent wheelchair. My only gripe is the leg rests can't go all the way down. This makes navigating difficult in certain situations.

Great chair, got some mobility again
This wheelchair has been nothing but awesome. I was in an accident which caused me to not be able to put any weight on my legs for an extensive time. Being stuck in one spot wasn't an option for me. I bought this chair without hesitation and highly recommend it. I'm sure any wheelchair would have been a game changer but I have no complaints about this one.

Breaks easy
Its cheap and breaks easy. Legs get stuck uplifted after every time you fold it and cant bring them down for a while as the pins are not good and break. Gave 4 star as it was cheap and you get what you pay for. Lasted 1 airplane trip.
