Excellent product, but not as useful as I expected
The blind spot camera system work as expected. Nice big bright screen, good quality picture even at night in dark streets. While you can clearly see cars in your blind spot, it is hard to estimate from the picture how close they are because of the view angle. I almost hit a car, not realizing it was much closer than it looked. So you have to use both side mirror and the blind spot camera when you make a quick decision to switch lanes. Not easy at all. I have decided to keep it, but I bought another system for my wife. After trying it on my car we are returning hers without even opening the package.

Best cross traffic camera in the market (requires modification)
I used this for a cross traffic camera instead. Mounted it on the rear dashboard and make it face on coming traffic or people that is going to get in my way when I back out of busy parking lots. It's mostly useful for when bigger cars are blocking my side windows entirely (especially dark tinted windows). This device makes sure I dont run anybody over. The power and video feed is all in one wire so you dont have to try to splice anything into your electrical system. The screen and cameras are powered by your 12V DC socket or USB port. The wires to the camera are short so you need to use the included extension cables from the screen to the cameras. You can rotate the view with a U shaped tool they give you. The screen is incredibly clear and frame rate is good since it is fully wired. Had tried a wireless camera and the picture quality was poor with low framerates. Stick with wired. Screen gets really hot for some reason, even if not turned on. I think it's made out of a metal heatsink to dissipate heat maybe? Idk. I dont mind it being a metal case though. For my setup, I bought aluminum flashing and bent it into an angle to prop up the cameras to my desired angle. I also created a little roof with reflective foam to protect it from the greenhouse heat at the rear window of my car. Used automotive, heat resistant double sided tape to attach everything. It also has night vision, I can see slightly better with the cameras than normal sightAll in all, love it. I didnt feel like I compromised on anything

It’s good but don’t expect OEM accuracy
It’s a good system. It is not perfect but it does work well.Installed on 2023 TacomaPROS:- The cameras are very clear- Easy to install by DIY- The monitor is the same size as iPhone 17 ProMaxCONS:- The target zones are difficult to understand. The right camera (on Low Sensitivity) has difficulty alerting when a vehicle is in the target zone (especially when passing) , but it will alert you to every tree, scrub, light pole and stop sign you pass. I tried changing the sensitivity but it affects the left camera sensitivity)- Turning the volume off, also shuts off the target zones. If you wish to use alerts on the screen you will need to keep the volume on.Overall: I keep the volume off and don’t utilize the target zone alerts. I simply use the cameras to visually check my blind spots.

Makes driving so much better.
These side Camara's are great, they really make driving our RV Safer and easier. It covers the blind spots that my mirrors don’t cover.

It helps avoid blind spot conflicts
When you consider the price, this is an amazing piece of equipment. After spine surgery my range of motion (turning side to side) was significantly limited. My 2013 F-150 truck is a great vehicle and I have no intention of replacing it, but it does not have blind spot monitoring. I bought this system to overcome my limitations from the surgery. The good news: this is easy to install and does not require any drilling or other permanent alteration of the truck. The system operated as soon as the power cord was plugged into the 12 volt cigarette lighter port. The images displayed for both sides of the vehicle were clear and of HD quality. The not so good news: the firmware for blind spot detection considers trees, large signs and other stationery objects to be vehicles in the blind spots. The display beeps almost constantly, although it can be silenced. Also, in my truck the cigarette lighter port is energized at all times, and even when the system is turned off there is a current draw that could drain a weak battery. This system does function to help you see vehicles in the blind spots, and for that reason I will keep it, in spite of the design flaws.
