Does what no other product/ method does - kill moles..
I have tried everything out there and all with some success, but none with the success of this product. I do have to add that you need to be extra vigilant for this prooduct to work. You need to look for new tunnels at least once a week, apply the product right away and keep checking back. If you stick to it, you will get and keep the moles out or dead. But it is an ongoing process. once a mole has made a tunnel onto your property, other moles will follow that tunnel, even after the original mole is gone. The best way to apply this product is to cut the worms in half, poke a hole into the tunnel with a 3/8" diameter stick ( I use a piece of 3/8" rebar), put the 'worm' into the hole, push it down with the stick, and then plug the hole you made with a rock. If you use colored rocks, you can find your holes back and check to see if the bait was eaten or not, also you don't double dose a tunnel that way, and lastly you can go back after a week or two and collapse the tunnels which will tell you for sure if the mole is gone or not (i.e. if the tunnel is not rebuilt, you probably got him). After 2 years of using this product I still have moles, but I bait constantly and I end up killing them right away which means they don't cause hardly any damage as compared to prior to baiting. I have 3 acres, so when I weed them out on one side, the other side of the property flares up. Also nice is that the product is under ground, where the dogs/cats/kids/raccoons and other critters don't accidentally get to it. Highly recommend!

Glad I found an easy and effective solution
I found a bunch of moles invaded my front and back yard. The created mounds in places I could not see during my normal winter โyardโ activities and I had over 30 mole hills. I followed the directions and within a few days all mole activity stopped in two out of the three clusters of hills. I stomped down all of the remaining hills and waited for new activity to appear. Sure enough โ a few days later I had some new hills. I followed the directions and dropped a โwormโ down each hill and recovered it. A week after that all more activity stopped. The mole professionals in my area now want upwards of $200 to set some traps. Some chare more per mole. Glad I found an easy and effective solution. I have a couple of extra packs just in case they return. Recommended!

Won't Be Fool Again!
People People People, don't be fooled like I have been by Tomcat and Sweeney products that use bait, castor oil, or even their silly plastic traps, they are all a complete waste of money. I don't care what these reviews say they simply don't work. It sounds good but moles simply don't eat them. As another reviewer said, โThe only way to get them is either trap them or hunt them. Get a trap that is easy to set that you can step on to setโ. I just bought โAround the Home Easy Mole Trapโ, the kind you step on, and after setting it I got my first mole in 15 minutes, man did that feel good, Iโm having a beer tonight. I got it at a local Tractor Supply store, cheaper than Amazon. The wire tek 1001 on Amazon is the same style of trap and I think that would work fine as well, especially if you have softer sandier soil since it has more surface area where it sits on the ground while you are stepping on the lever (so it wonโt sink as much). These traps work good on surface tunnels. I might have to find an alternate solution for the mounds where the tunnels are deeper, thinking of looking into the Victor Out of site mole trap for that job. Again, donโt waste your time and money on these bait products, they donโt work. Also, don't waste your time killing grubs, another fairy tale, I pretty much destroyed every grub in my yard and didn't stop those moles for one second.

Tomcat 6-count Mole Killer Worm Formula Experience
The item performed as advertised. I did as others had indicated and cut the worms into thirds and placed in active tunnels and in those areas have not seen activity. However, as with other products there is activity in other areas. This activity is much less than the initial area that I started with. I liked the product because it decreased the activity more than previous products I have tried and was easier to use. It did not eliminate the mole problem all together.

Maybe a Great Product/Maybe Not a Great Product
I had a big mole problem in my front yard. I immediately put down poison to kill any grub worms or things moles feed on. I ordered the Tomcat Mole Killer worms. Unfortunately, they had been left somewhere in the sun before I got them and the worms had melted into thin rubbery strips. Desperate, I scraped out some of these thin, unrecognizable strips, followed the directions and stuffed them into a fresh burrow. The next day the mole was gone. Was it the Tomcat killer or the insecticide that got rid of the mole? I don't know. I do know that if I order this fairly pricy product again and it arrives melted in the package, I will return it immediately.

I don't like using traps
UPATE 2016 -- I'm still buying these worms and moles are still dying. We're surrounded by rural pastures, so killing all the moles is impossible. What these do is make it easy to kill the ones that venture into our yard. UPDATE 2015 -- After two full years of use, I'm ready to give away our traps. These mole killing worms work great! The secret is to use a dowel or something similar to poke a hole in the mole's run, not in the middle of a mound. Wear gloves, drop the worm in, cover the hole and you're done. So's the mole. I usually cut the worms into two pieces and put one piece on each side of a mole mound. FIRST REVIEW -- We've had more moles than usual this year (2014) on our five-acre rural property. I don't like using traps, because most require large holes in the lawn and the smaller type haven't worked for me. A shotgun has taken out six of the critters this year, but that takes a lot of time as I have to be there when the moles are pushing up dirt. When a friend said Tomcat's poison worms have done the trick for him, I ordered two boxes. In the first two weeks after putting out several of the expensive gummy worms, it seemed that they were acting like energy food. The moles pushed up holes all over the place. Then things settled down and there's only an occasional mound, none in our lawn. Truth is, however, that it's impossible to know if 95-degree heat or the worms have caused the slow-down in activity. Until we use the worms for a full spring-fall mole season, I'll give Tomcat a neutral 2.5 stars and the shotgun a solid 4.

Product does not work!
I have over an acre of property and have been fighting a mole problem for over 30 years. I have tried various methods to control the moles with limited success, but I have had the best results with traps. When I saw the add for the Tomcat Mole Killer, I thought that I woul;d give the product a try since traps made a mess of my lawn. I followed the instructions completely with no results. I placed the worms in the same active tunnel three times, but the worms did not kill them. Looks like I will have to go back to my mole traps to get good results. I definitely would not recommend the product to anyone based on the results and my plus 30 years of fighting the mole problem.

Excellent Product, helps me get ride of moles on my 5 acres
I'm extremely happy with this product, I used to by the more expensive branded version before I came across the Tomcat version and have noticed no difference in quality. I live on 5 acres and constantly have mole problems. I have found using these worms to be the most effective solution for my mole problem in combination with Sweeney's. Once the mole hills start popping up I immediately stomp them down, after a day I look for active tunnel use and proceed put the worms in the bigger mounds and sweeney in the smaller ones, this way I get maximum poison in the tunnels. After a couple days I normally see zero activity and typically don't have to apply again for a season. The reason why I use sweeney's with this product is that it is a cheaper alternative to get maximum coverage, though it should be noted that sweeney's by itself typically isn't as effective as the worms.
