Do they sell this without the harmful MSG?

620 and 621 are msg. Parmesan cheese has msg. Mushrooms have msg. Soy sauce has msg. All naturally occurring. You should be made aware you’ve been consuming it without knowing. I think it is either a psychological reaction or some other ingredient that causes the symptom/s. You can make you own as well if it really bothers you. I suggest buying the Korean roasted chilli powder (flakes) gochugaru as the base because it’s not as spicy compared to other chili flakes.

Does this need to be refrigerated after opening?

Yes, it is on the label to refrigerate after opening. The oil does not seem to fully solidify unless the fridge is very cold, it quickly liquifies again at room temperature. It keeps for an extremely long time in the fridge (if you can keep yourself from eating the entire jar in one sitting!)

So good, not spicy at all. Has a nice mild Smokey flavor and just the right amount of garlic. Perfect topping for sushi, boiled eggs, etc. Will definitely be buying more. Came packaged well, no leaks, good seal and the expiration date is Dec 2027, it won’t last that long!! lol
