Yes. After its applied with fingertips or shaving brush a dense foam develops. How many head shavings will this last?

Have used product with shaving brush application for 4-5 years. Based upon my average of 5 face shavings per week , think it's reasonable to expect at least 6+ months of head shaves (assuming a few days between shaves). Excellent product.

Can the texture be compared with anything? See comments about softness and would like to know which is preferable - scooping some out in a bowl?

My husband loves this shave cream. He just touches his shave brush into the cream and it will do his whole face. I have used this to shave me legs and loved that it made my legs very soft. He said the texture is like cool whip. No need to scoop out at all. You use very little. This jar will last my husband close to a year and he shaves every day.

Do you have a travel size? Or a similar product for men in travel size?

This is the only size. You could transfer some to a smaller container?

I have bought this out of the curiosity and based on some suggestions from the web to give it a try. What i can say, this is really really good product. The scent is maybe not very profound but subtle and encompassing enough to have that special feeling. The lather is really nice both with soft brushes and more stiff ones. The package holds more content that the competition and there are more organic/ natural ingredients as well. Highly recommended.
