It is smaller than my other ones I've had YET I do love that it automatically starts making Ice cubes as soon as the basket is close to empty. So I like that. But you do have to add water frequently. It does make Ice VERY fast. Good size. Smooth.

After reading somewhat mixed reviews I was a bit hesitant to buy this ice maker. Good surprise. It is so fast in just a few minutes we have ice. They're not that big and a little wet but we put them in our freezer and they're great. Some customers complained about the noise but I can hardly hear the machine running. All in all we are very satisfied with this ice maker, it works good and the price was very reasonable. I can recommend this machine.

I asked for a counter top ice maker for Christmas and my husband came through. I didn't realize these were a thing until I worked at a veterinary clinic that had one for staff and clients. I hate using ice trays and got tired of buying bags of ice. The machine is great. It doesn't take long to make ice, maybe 10-15 minutes, you have a choice or small or large cubes, it doesn't take up much counter space, and this model has self cleaning ability. I use it maybe 2 or 3 times weekly and I like the idea of having ice on demand. I like to use filtered drinking water in the machine. That's not mandatory but a personal preference. Great product for sure!

The Antarctic Star Countertop Ice Maker has been great for quick and convenient ice at home. It’s impressive how it can produce up to 8 ice cubes in about 6 minutes, and the two size options are a nice touch depending on what you need for drinks or coolers. The compact, portable design fits well on my countertop without taking up too much space. It’s fairly quiet for a machine this size, and I appreciate that it can produce around 26 pounds of ice a day — more than enough for parties or daily use. The only minor downsides are that the ice basket isn’t very big (so you have to empty it often), and the water reservoir could be larger to avoid frequent refills. Overall, a solid countertop ice maker that delivers fast, reliable ice with minimal fuss.

These things always seem to last a couple of years and then one of the sensors goes bad (not really repairable). Just bought this one as my latest version and I went with the cheapest I could find. Works great. Spits out ice pellets in just a few minutes. Fairly compact, taking up less countertop space than my previous one. About average on noise level. And . . . LOVE the price! Would definitely choose this one again.

This is easy to set up and very easy to use. It is a quality machine. This was the perfect add on to our "beverages station." We often have lots of guests so we have a space set up specifically for them to be able to help themselves to a variety of drink options, but we had no convenient way to keep anything cold. This ice maker has made it quick and easy to have ice when we have guests.

Our ice maker broke and this was a temporary fix. It is definitely nothing you can leave plugged in all day. The machine gets very hot. Personally I wouldn't risk a house fire for it. However the it does make two different sizes of ice in a reasonable amount of time. Would I recommend it.. maybe for a trip somewhere or someone that occasionally uses ice. We will keep it for travel purposes.

Having 5 members in our household, including 3 kids who play sports year-round, we go through a lot of ice. We just threw away a name brand countertop ice machine that bit the dust after about 2 years. We have been using this one for about a month and a half now and are very pleased with it. I learned from my last one that cleaning these things regularly is extremely important to making them last. I love that this one has a cleaning button right on the front. Press the button and it goes through a cleaning cycle for about 5 minutes or so. Easy. You will also need to run some vinegar or other cleaner through it occasionally as well as wash out the inside and removable parts with soap and water. The way it's designed makes it much easier to clean than my old one. You will have to do all this with any ice maker. It produces a lot of ice in a very short time. The ice is crunchy and not super hard. Between this maker and the one built into our refrigerator, we have plenty of ice now. The design is perfect. Lower the door and scoop out what you need. As the ice in the hopper melts it simply is recycled and makes more ice. Who knows how long it will last, but so far, I have been impressed with the quality. I think as long as I keep it cleaned it will last for a long time. At this price and for the quality, I feel like this is a great deal.

It’s very nice ice and created in no time. The only thing I wish is that it would act as storage for the ice but you have to turn it off once you’re done making ice. It fits well on the counter.
