what is the impedance?

Hi Jim Stewart, Impedance is 64 Ω at 1 kHz. https://docs.sony.com/release//specs/MDRZ1R_mksp.pdf Regards, Erin Sony Social Support

Are the drivers angled like the Z7 or they are straight firing?

They are angled like the Z7, I guess for the great sound stage of it.

why is the international version cheaper? also how does this comp[are to HD800S

Cheaper because it doesn't come with manufacturer warranty. Sorry, I don't have HD800S but this one right here is a closed can, and HD800S isn't

How would this compare to the sony mdr-z1m2 ?yes i know the z1 has a 70 mm driver, vs the m2's 50, but lots of other common features, ballncd cable et
