Have you ever been somewhere and there’s just no pen in sight? Not anymore. I already own a couple gadgets from this brand and know how durable their stuff is, so when I saw they made this pen — which, by the way, is also a pencil — I had to grab one. If you're into EDC, this pairs perfectly with a pocket notebook and fits comfortably in your pocket. It has a sturdy clip for securing it to your pocket or bag, and it’s extremely lightweight so you barely notice it’s there. The ballpoint ink writes smoothly, just as you'd expect. I haven’t used the pencil function much yet, but it works well in my quick tests. Bonus points for the extra pencil tips the company includes — a thoughtful touch in case you run out. If you want something compact, functional, and reliable, this is a great addition to your everyday carry.

I’m impressed! The O’Pen Mini 2 is wildly compact yet impeccably designed. The S‑shaped bolt‑action lets me effortlessly switch between the smooth 0.7 mm ballpoint and pencil tip—practical and satisfying in one sleek motion . The OD green aluminum finish looks sharp, feels durable, and the pocket clip stays put without digging in. Despite its mini size, the pen writes beautifully—no skipping or blotting—and the pencil is more robust than I expected, with two replacement tips included amazon.com . It's lightweight (under an ounce), making it perfect for EDC in a pocket or pouch, yet it offers serious utility macsources.medium.com +1 youtube.com +1 . Bottom line: it’s a compact, well-engineered tool that gives you two reliable writing options in one. Great for camp gear, office desks, or daily carry. Highly recommend! Standout Features: 👍 Dual-purpose writing: slick switch from pen to pencil via bolt-action ✍️ Smooth ballpoint + durable pencil tips (lasts approx. 600 m of writing) 🎯 Perfect EDC size: compact yet comfortable, with sturdy pocket clip 💵 High utility for the price (~$13–16)

Built really well, I imagine it has a little break in period. It has a ball point blank in that comes with it. That rights smooth, I'll change that out eventually. See the pictures for size comparison. Small than I thought, but will work great for an EDC. It's sleek, small and will make for conversion I am sure.

This is a magnificent writing and drawing instrument in almost all aspects. Being very compact in all three dimensions it lends itself well to an EDC kit. The black ink flows smoothly. Allowing for extremely fine, precision drawing and doodling. The pencil tip performs admirably at work or play. However, being the finish is so polished and slick I find myself constantly wetting my fingers to maintain a firm, solid grip on the pen end. This is why I had to knock off a star on this otherwise exceptionally well built product. Some knurling for grip would be nice.

I love this pen and have used it daily for about 4 months. It writes smoothly, although not as nice as gel pen. It marks on many surfaces, and seems like a good capacity- I haven’t had to refill it yet! The mechanism is easy to operate with one hand. The two things I appreciate most on the pen is the length and the side operated bayonet clicker. The pen is long enough to hold in my medium to large hands, but not so long as to get pushed out of my pocket when I sit down. The side clicker means it doesn’t get opened in my pocket accidentally and bleed all over the inside. The pencil is nice, but I’ve only used it a couple of times. In my opinion, this pen is perfect for incidental daily pocket use, but personally opt for a full size gel pen if I need to write more than a few lines.
