This is going to sound like unhinged, unabashed, shilling, but I freaking love these monitors. I have bought and tried over a dozen different portable LCD's over the past decade, and this is hands down my favorite. Enough that I bought multiple of them. 1. They are nearly the EXACT same physical footprint, in their framing, as the 15" MacBook Air. So I can fit them in a MBA sleeve for travel, which is super helpful. 2. They are ridiculously pixel-dense, while not being impossible to drive with a GPU at high frame rates. The *actual* stated res of the panel itself is 1560x1706 which is admittedly a *weird* number but very, very easy to scale to pair nicely with a MacBook Air 15". 3. I had color banding and brightness issues with one of mine, same as others described in their review, so I reset the panel to defaults and it fixed it. At first I thought it was dim until I plugged in a second power cable and it could pull enough current to comfortably crank the brightness. Then I tried using aftermarket software like "BetterDisplay" for MacOS to force brighter and it worked without a hitch, over a single cable. 4. It's less than $70, and punches well above its weight class in displays. Most 15"ers including the one on shelves at Costco today at 1080p 16:9, are still locked at 60hz, are matte finish and are always looking washed out in colors. I prefer this. It's not the same, but it's darned similar to the panel with my MacBook Air, and that makes it worth the while for traveling with additional screenspace without contorting or stretching or discoloring whatever I'm working on.

When I received this display I was very satisfied by its performance and ease of use. It was for a specific project with my Mac Mini. I used it for a week or so. Then I let it on the side for two months. Today I needed to use again but it doesn't work anymore!!! I've tried with other USB cables but no success. I don't recommend this display at anybody because it won't last for months. It's a complete waste of money. Bewared.

Great portable Monitor. Highly impressed with that quality especially at this price. I brought 2 of these and they work seamlessly with my MacBook Air M4.

So far this does exactly what I wanted. I am mounting 2 of these displays (10 inch version) in a van on the headrests with Lamicall mounts. Both displays are driven through a USB C hub (ACASIS) by a smartphone (tested a Pixel 9 Pro and a Samsung Note 20). One display is connected directly through USB C and the other is connected through HDMI and powered by a USB C cable connected to another data port on the hub. With the phone playing any full screen content, I am able to display full screen on both portable displays. The picture quality is surprisingly good! The audio quality is not so good on the display, but I will be sending audio from the phone via bluetooth to the vehicle's radio. Another thing to note, screen mirroring from either of my smartphones displays the correct aspect ratio on these displays even though the output of the phone is 1920 x 1080. However, I had to disable Samsung Dex on the Note20, for some reason that was squishing the picture. Changing it to screen mirroring allowed it to behave just like my Pixel 9 (pictured). The displays do not feel very substantial (plastic case) so I will be handling them delicately. As long as they hold up I will keep this at 5 stars. But will update if they do not hold up. Beware the warranty is only 30 days as stated in the papers that come with it. I was disappointed to see they do not come with a neoprene sleeve as seen in some of the other reviews. But I won't subtract a star since it wasn't in the description anyway.

Great Monitor – but make sure you read the resolution (1280) carefully, because it isn’t for tv/game display. I bought this monitor because it was one of the few small monitors that supported full size HDMI, instead of needing an mini-hdmi connector. It was also much cheaper than many others so I wasn’t expecting the picture quality to be as good as it was. As soon as I turned it on, the picture had so much more vivid colors that other mini-monitors I have tried. The HDR is great. It also can bee seen clearly from more angles. My other lightweight monitor can only be clearly seen straight on. My biggest disappointment was my mistake. It is 1280, not 1080, so the images get slightly distorted if you use it as a television instead of computer monitor. I bought it as a portable switch2 display, which appeared stretched. Even so, I was still impressed by the monitors gaming quality. The game images were bold and clean, and the motion was smooth. Even the music sounded pretty good for built-in-speakers. I really wish they made this monitor in 1920x1080 resolution for portable tv and game console displays. That would seem a natural fit for full hdmi, and I can’t find many competitor product with all these features , and none in that resolution. I’m giving the product 5 stars because it exceeds at what it is supposed to do, and was noticeably clearer than others I have tried.
