Great fit. Don't drop them. Casing is fragile.

My original key fob was pretty beat up and the case was starting to fall apart, but the actual electronics still worked fine. Instead of replacing the whole key, I just moved everything over into one of these shells. It was surprisingly easy and everything fit the way it was supposed to. The buttons feel good, the case closes securely and protects the key well. Not to mention that my key looks way better now. You also get two shells for the price, which is a pretty good deal. If the inside of your key still works and the outside is just worn out, I’d definitely go this route.

Worked great for a 2008 Honda Accord key replacement. The instructions are useless so I offer these observations: Fully disassemble your original key fob. Your original metal key shaft fits into a provided small "sleeve". The aftermarket sleeve the key shaft slides into was too tight in my case, so have a file ready to gently file away just enough key shaft material face/edge until it slides snugly into the sleeve. Once the metal key shaft is in the sleeve, be aware that this sub assembly fits into the back side of the fob in only one orientation & does not 'snap' into place but rather slides into receiving grooves internal to the fob back piece. The original "button pack" presses easily into place on the front side of the fob. Once the new front and back halves are pressed/snapped together, the last item to install is the screw through the back side of the back piece. The final fit in my case was tight with no gaps or fitment issues. This was a great buy and I saved myself at least $200 by side stepping dealer prices (I purchased the 2 pack).
