How much hydrogen peroxide do you need and how often? Thanks.

Periodically add one cap full of hydrogen peroxide into the reservoir to keep the circulation system clean. Procedure: Set temperature to 75 degrees F. Remove the reservoir cap and add the Hydrogen Peroxide. LEAVE THE RESERVIOR CAP OFF. The HP will react with the dirt or other foreign particles to clean the system. Once the reaction has stopped (bubbles no longer form), replace the cap, reset the temperature to your desired sleep temperature and enjoy.

Why do these look different than the cleaning packets on chili sleep's website? Are they an old version or made by a different company?

I've gotten the solution directly from the site for a couple of years. The images on this listing are of the old packaging. They changed the packaging to the all light-blue version - the first order I got from them in the new packaging was on April 2021.

After using the cleaner, I noticed reduced performance for awhile, and I read someone else report it. Please comment?

I have noticed a difference in performance sometimes, but it is totally random. I’m not sure it has anything to do with the cleaner, but I will always use the cleaner. My biggest issue is the unit sometimes “WHIRRRING” loudly in the middle of the night and I have to turn it off.
