I was pleasantly surprised by how good this projector is for the price. The picture is bright, sharp, and the 4K support makes movies and shows look great. The autofocus works quickly, so I don’t have to spend time adjusting the image every time I move it. The built-in apps are a huge plus because I can stream Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube without needing to hook up another device. Setup was simple and only took a few minutes. The fan is quieter than I expected, and the overall design feels modern and well made. Whether I’m watching movies, sports, or playing games, it has performed really well.

Picture quality and autofocus is awesome. Looks great like high priced . 100% recommended. Even you can take with you if you travel . Super easy setup and fast connection.

Great design and size. So far after 2 hours of straight use the fan doesn't get too loud and the speaker does well. At 1.5 meters the size of the projection is around 58 inches with good color and brightness. At 3 meters you can see the colors start to fade so as they say 2 meters is probably the sweet spot. For the price its an excellent projector provided it keeps going throughout the years.

Such a clear picture! For quite an affordable price! I watched movies, shows at different times of the day and the picture was just as clear during the day as the night. I would strongly recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to deal with moving a tv and just wants plug and play. Easy. Convenient…. And just makes sense. This projector easily puts to shame my 85” LED tv and it makes it to where I don’t even have to bother with moving it when it’s 100lbs. The brightness is pretty comparable to what a LED tv would be. Adjustability…. Easy! Connectivity, 5 mins max… connects via WiFi! Screen size… depends on how far you put it from the wall but right now I’m at 107”. Easy to pack up and move too!

4.5 stars - Love this projector. Easy to use, excellent quality. Used for a trip to the Bahamas, synced to our Starlink mini and had movie nights al fresco. Will be using at home - sharp image, only complaint is that it could use a better speaker system, but we will add that. It would have been great for the trip to have it built-in, but did the trick!

It is so comfortable and completely exceeded expectations. What attracts me most is that it can open Netflix directly, without having to use mobile phone screen projection or install third-party apps. The remote control is a familiar interface with one click. Selecting movies, adjusting clarity, and adjusting subtitles are all very smooth, as easy to use as a TV. Recently, I have been following "The Last List" and "Space Force". The picture is smooth and clear, and the sound effect is much better than I expected. The built-in Dolby audio makes me feel that this is not a "small device" at all when watching blockbusters. I usually put it directly on the bedside table. Its bracket is really stable, and the angle can be adjusted at will, without buying a tripod. It automatically focuses within a few seconds after turning on, and the picture is clear at once, without having to twist it for a long time like the old projectors in the past. I also tried to watch it during the day, and I could still see it clearly with the curtains drawn. Overall, the brightness is sufficient. The whole system responds quickly, there are no ads, and there is no sense of lag, which makes it very worry-free to use. Compared with the low-priced Android system projector I used before, what I am most satisfied with this one is its smoothness and stability, as well as the "really usable" streaming media support. You don't need a technical background, and you don't need to think about how to project the screen. You can buy it and plug it in to watch. It is really suitable for people like me who just want to watch TV quietly.

The image quality is crisp and bright, but be aware this projector sucks dust like a vacuum and it is almost impossible to clean.

寝室の天井投影用に購入しました。 大画面が天井に現れて、子供たちはリビング60型のテレビよりもこちらがお気に入りになってます。 2万円以内でこのコスパは満足です。 良いところ ・画質が想像以上！暗室にすると想像以上の高画質でした。 ・台形補正が素晴らしい。ある程度オートだが、手動でもかなり補正可能。 ・起動時毎回のピント合わせでピントの合った映像が毎回担保されている。 ・機械音痴な女性でもできるセッティングの容易さ ・起動の速さ（以前所有していたプロジェクターから比べたら爆速レベル） ・体育館でも十分に性能発揮（暗幕すれば、100人くらいなら視聴可能でした。卒部式の映像投影で大活躍してくれました） 改善点 ・音質はそこそこ。（これは個人差があり、聞き取れれば良いというレベルの方だと問題なしだが、我が家では別途スマートスピーカーを使用してます） ・wi-fi設定が保持されないことがある。地味に面倒ですが、我が家はAmazon Fire TV Stickを差してるのであまり関係ない。

自宅用に購入しましたが、映像・音質・使いやすさについて非常に良いプロジェクターだと感じました。リアル1080Pで映像がとても鮮明で、4K対応＆750ANSIルーメンの明るさにより、映画やゲームも迫力があるといえます。短焦点なので、狭い部屋でも大画面を楽しめるのが嬉しいポイントです。 電源を入れるだけでオートフォーカスと自動台形補正が効き、調整不要で快適に使用可能です。Dolby認証の20Wスピーカーも想像以上に音が良いといえます。別途スピーカーがなくても十分満足できると思います。 Netflix公式認証モデルで、アプリがそのまま使える安心感もあり、初めてのホームプロジェクターにもおすすめできる一台といえますね。

画質は思っていたより普通に良く、とても良い買い物ができたなと思いました。 ただ、音質はあまり良くないので別途でスピーカーをつけた方がいいかもしれません。 もう一点、リモコンの反応が悪すぎて文字を打つのに一苦労しました。 リモコンについて書かれている方がいないので私のリモコンが不良なだけかもしれませんが…💦

We traveled down south with our kids last year and I knew that where we were staying didn’t have a tv. I had this crazy idea to buy and bring a projector with us and little did I know our projector would become such a huge part of our lives (Pretty sure my kids have told every person they know that Friday night is family movie night with our projector). The projector I had purchased was the Wimius S27 and I’ll mention it quite a bit here because I think it’s nice to have some comparison between models (The S27 btw is fantastic and a really great price point. The S29 is demoting my S27 to travel use and for watching movies in the backyard). First thoughts pulling it out of the box, this thing is SLEEK. Holy cow what a good looking projector. When you look at Wimius projectors in general this is something they always get right. The design of the S29 screams high quality and the charcoal grey color is stunning. The first feature I was excited to try out was the 360 degree swivel (the S27 is 270 degree), and I was not disappointed. The S27 “clicks” into place when you adjust the angle of the projector, which truthfully did end up limiting the preciseness of the angles it offered. The S29 does not do this and allows you to angle it any which way you want, which I really appreciated. The two major improvements Wimius has done here (both of which are amazing) is introducing a Smart operating system and Dolby Audio. With the S27 I feel like those were the two major things people hoped to see in a future model and Wimius really listened to that feedback. Personally, I have always used screen mirroring to watch our iptv service on the projector, but for those wanting to cast their Netflix, Hulu, etc. to their projector, with the S27 this was not possible. It’s not any fault of Wimius, streaming services literally block you from doing this. By introducing a smartOS it allows you to access to all of your paid services directly and makes it such a smooth and easy viewing experience. One difference I did notice and worried about initially was the Screen mirroring function. The S27 presented you with instructions on how to cast both from an Apple and Android device. When I initially tried to cast, I was only presented with a Miracast (Android) option and I panicked thinking I couldn’t screen mirror with my iPhone anymore. You absolutely still can, it’s just a quick download of their ScreenShare app and it was just as easy to cast as it had been on the S27. The built in apps offered are a huge upgrade, offering Netflix, Prime video, Hulu, YouTube, Disney+, etc. We chose to stream a movie through our Disney+ account and navigating the app is a breeze. Another upgrade I want to mention here is the remote, they’ve added buttons that serve as a direct link to the streaming apps (see pic). The picture quality… Absolutely unreal. SO sharp. I’ll include examples of both an animated movie as well as non-animated to give a better idea (the screen size in my pictures is approx 8ft by 15ft). Where the S27 you had to manually adjust the sharpness of the image, it is now done by remote digitally and works super well, which was a really nice touch. I feel like this projector has an upgrade in the Lumens department because it wasn’t even fully dark outside and we were able to see our movie on the wall no problem. A cheaper projector will offer fewer lumens and will basically require a pitch black room if you actually want to see the movie you’re watching. I feel like in general where projectors really struggle is the audio. Most often people (including myself) do tend to take advantage of the Bluetooth option offered and connect their own higher quality speaker which is what I had always done with the S27. I don’t ~love~ this additional step, especially when my young kids are impatiently waiting for me to set up their movie. The S29 offers Dolby Audio and let me tell you the difference is night and day. I would say you definitely don’t need your own speaker with the S29, at times I do still use it only because I find I’m so used to the audio coming from in front of me and not behind, just a personal preference of mine. If all of this hasn’t been enough to convince you to give this projector a try… all of the tvs in our home are + 12 years old and we don’t even see the point in upgrading them now that we get to watch our stuff in movie theatre format whenever we want. I have literally kept the walls in my living room and basement blank, even though I am dying to decorate, because what would I do without my instant projector screen?! What began as a silly little Amazon purchase a year ago became a little family tradition of ours that I know my kids will enjoy for years to come. Trust me. If you’re reading this, add to cart. Worth EVERY penny. *Forgot to mention* I did originally have a small issue with my S27 and the customer service at Wimius was out of this world in resolving it for me. I feel like this has a strong impact on me purchasing in the future from a brand (especially one I don’t know) because my fear is always spending good money and then when issues come up the company is radio silent. I feel like excellent customer service says a lot about a company! *Also a good mention* I’m not sure I’ve seen this mentioned in the descriptions of these projectors but at the bottom of both the S27 and S29 there’s an option to screw in a tripod?! Setting up a projector can at times be a pain depending on your room setup and I LOVE this option. I bought myself a cheap tripod at the dollar store for any time we want to set it up somewhere other than our usual spot.
