Why is expired food being allowed to be sold and paid for ??

The expiration date is probably 1/2 of the actual shelf life time. I have had "expired" dates many times & had no issue with the product. I always figure if the product has 6 months it's actually good for 1 year or at the least 3 more months depending on the product.

I just bought these in December for $11 so why now are they almost $16?

Prices on all Amazon products fluctuate. Why I don't know.
