They are natural without the black added! Olives are not black when they are cured! If they were they would dissolve because they would be too soft when they are cooked in lye! All olives have to be cured!

We have eaten these olives for several years. They used to be so firm and had the best flavor. We ordered a case of them and all of them have been horrible. I have thrown out 3 of the cans due to them tasty horrible and so mushy. Not sure what changed.
