Directions Apply the eyeliner as you would normally do, using the tip of the pencil to create thin or thick lines along the lash line or to fill in the lid. For eyeshadow, use the pencil to draw color onto the lid, then blend with a brush or your fingers for a smooth finish. The product can also be used as a highlighter, applying it to the brow bone or the inner corner of the eye. For a smoky effect, use the matte and pearlescent colors together. Always start with a small amount of product and build up as desired. To remove, use a makeup remover or gentle soap and water. Beautiful and easy apply love using multiple colors sometimes.

Creamy formula is decently pigmented. It can smudge, but doesn't easily migrate, you do have to rub it firmly to move it. Mine are labeled as eye and lip pencils, and the formula does work as either. I even experimented with using a shade all over the eyelid as a shadow, which worked OK, and I really liked the dramatic blue color. These are fun to play around with and well worth the price I paid for them. They are a great way to experiment with bold colors to see what you like.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The price is very reasonable and it’s a smooth application process. I love the variety of colors. it doesn’t irritate my eyes. But for the length of the pencils, I thought I would have gotten more than just the existing tip on each pencil. Just like a previous review commented, you can’t sharpen them, or twist for a little more product after several applications with the current point. As per smudging, I sometimes had the eyeliner I applied on my eyelids smudge in the course of the day and I looked like I had applied eyeshadow, which I hadn’t. It didn’t look horrible, but I wasn’t expecting it to look that way. The only reason I would probably buy again is because of the price and colors. Quality is not the greatest, but that’s what the low price indicates.
