I recently moved into an apartment building and the blinds are terrible. They look alright but whoever chose them did not take the fact that light absolutely penetrates them all day and in the city with lights all around the light continues unabated even at night. Whoever chose these blinds never lived in the apartments. Also you can see through them when people are walking around in the apartment particularly at the night when lights or tv's are on in the apartments. In addition, my apartment gets a lot of sun all day and it really heats up the apartment since I also have bay windows so needed a solution that would also cut my electric bills due to AC running a great deal. It also was very hard to play games or watch shows even with a large format new OLED TV. The contrast from the light coming in during the day was brutal and not conducive to my work from home setup as well, the glare off the sunlight was unyielding. That is where these blinds from MoDanCeq are needed. I wasn't sure if they would work but they do hands down, I am including some before and after pictures also. I had to be careful and get blinds that fit over my current blinds or fit in front of them in the metal frame of the window without doing an damage to the walls such as screw holes, etc. and these blinds use pressure instead. These work great and totally fixed the light situation and were very easy to install. Also had great support from their team to make sure they fit. A couple of key items, make sure you measure exactly where you will place the blinds, don't assume the lower part of the wall window frame is the same at the bottom at the top portion, it has to be exactly measured on the width. Also if your window frames are similar to mine in these newer buildings, you can place these blinds inside the metal frame itself assuming you have two inches or more of depth. I did both in my apartment the outside and over the current blinds or in the metal frames of the window in front of the current blinds and they work great. I looked at various other brands but none of them even came close to the blinds that MoDanCeq has and these are made very well. I purchased eight of them altogether, well worth the investment.

I absolutely love these shades! Over a period of time, I have slowly bought these shades for each room in my house. They are great quality and so easy to install - I love that they are no-drill and don't require drilling holes into my woodwork. They move up and down without any issues and darken the room significantly if you're looking to block light. The company is also amazing to work with. In one of my previous orders, I had mistakenly ordered the wrong size, and the customer service exceeded my expectations and was so easy to work with on fixing my error. I highly recommend these shades and the company.

Absolutely love and so easy to put up! Was worried about sizing. Fits perfectly! Don’t hesitate but do measure several times to be sure. Was also worried about “fabric” for my kitchen. It’s like a very high quality thick textured vinyl and white is completely non see through. Love!!

Are you ready to elevate your home with this product? Like many people, I have doubts about the claims. After the product arrival and installation, I can tell you that I am 200 percent satisfied with this purchase. I am beyond pleased with the installation and aesthetic beauty of the dark grey blinds. At first, I was very skeptical about the claims; however, after reading the fantastic reviews from other consumers, I decided to take a risk and purchase this product. I can tell you that I was not disappointed at all. Here are pros and cons: Pros: 1. It is easy to install. It literally takes about 60 seconds to install it. 2. You don't really need any tool to put the blinds in place. 3. It takes ONE person to install it. Ladies, you can do it as well! Cons: 1. The price that you see on Amazon is the "based" price. Because you have to customize the blinds according to the dimension of your window, the price will likely to rise. While it will be somewhat costly, it will worth the cost, in my opinion. 2. The package takes about 10-14 days for delivery. Just for transparency, I don't think the product is from the United States, which is okay. 3. The only tool that you need is to turn the thing clockwise to secure it in place and each package comes with one of those mini "wrench." For them to say "no tool," that is not completely correct. Nevertheless, I do not feel mislead in any way, shape or form. 4. You will need to find the exact measurement of this product. This is the hardest part of the assignment is to figure out the dimension with a measurement tape. If you are not good at math, ask someone for help. Not everyone is good at basic math. 5. This product is non-refundable due to the nature of this customize product. If you messed up, the ownership is on YOU and not the seller. The bottom line is that it is worth the cost, and I would recommend it. Check out the 2 vivid pictures.

This shade is well made and super easy to install. I was so pleased with the high end look of the first shade that I have ordered a second one for my living room. Total time to unbox the shade and install in the window was about five minutes. Does a great job at blocking out light and is secure in the window frame. It did take longer to receive than I would have liked; but in all fairness, it was delivered within the time frame stated when I placed my order. Would recommend for anyone looking roller shade with clean, modern aesthetic.

The shade was the easiest thing to install works fantastic and fit just right. It looks and feels like great quality material. Rolls up and down with ease. I would buy this product for my other windows eventually.

So I was a little hesitant about buying a product with zero reviews. I also had previously only installed typical roller blinds. But these shades appeared ideal - they could make the size I needed, and they looked nice on the website, especially with the cover for the valence. I was also uncertain about whether this whole no drill idea would even work. And they were priced about the same as comparable products. But I figured, what the hell, it's Amazon, I can always return them if I have any problems. Well needless to say, I am especially happy with this product. The company made a point to email me more than once to confirm order details, which at first I thought was overkill, but now think suggests that they really are out to create a quality product. They arrived within a week, packed very well. They feel and look like high quality, fit perfectly, and they definitely will block out all light. Only one of them had the little instruction sheet, and naturally it was the other I unwrapped first. So when I put it in the window frame it was just a little loose, but I fixed that by putting a piece of cardboard between the spring-loaded bracket on one side and the frame. But then when I unwrapped the second one I could see from the directions that the valance cover goes over (easily peeled back, and attached with velcro) a small hole the you need to put the included allen wrench into and rotate counter-clockwise, which then tightens that bracket right up against the frame. The one thing to note is that the shades aren't spring-loaded like typical blinds where you give them a little tug and they roll right back up. At first I thought something was wrong, but actually they are heavy and rigid enough that you gently push them back up (and down). And they smoothly go to any level and stay there. Price-wise, I think they're worth it, although I'm a cheapskate. I'm using them on west facing windows that during the hot summer months allows the sun to really bake the house. Because of where we live, where privacy isn't really an issue, and we have nice views, I've purposely left almost all the windows without shades. What I like about these is that I can easily remove them once it cools down. This said, I like them so much I'm thinking about buying more -- we have a lot of windows, so I hope that by the time I decide to spend the money this company will still be around. I'm sure we've all seen companies disappear from Amazon. I buy a ton of stuff from Amazon and rarely leave reviews - this was one I had to do right away.

I rarely write reviews, but am so happy with these shades that I wanted to let those that are considering them know that they are awesome. They were super quick and easy to install. The textured fabric looks very nice. I LOVE HOW EASY IT IS TO PUT THE SHADES UP AND DOWN AND THAT THEY STAY WHEREVER YOU STOP! I think they look more expensive than they were. I’m very happy with this purchase!

I was so impressed with the first blind that I ordered for my patio door, I ended up ordering 4 more blinds for my living room windows. These fit perfectly and I was able to install them behind my existing white blinds (which were not very good at blocking blazing sunlight). I will probably order some more for my bedroom windows.

Good quality and easy to install. Good value. I made the mistake of hanging them in my bathroom. Looks good but zero light coming through. That was my mistake .

These blinds are amazing!! So easy to install; took about a minute! They fit perfect, move up and down freely, the material is very nice looking, and the colour is so nice. We bought the light grey. I am absolutely delighted with them!

This is the best blind I have ever had, hands down. The seller contacted me to confirm the measurements, which I thought was very diligent, and the measurements were perfect. The package arrived weeks before I expected it. It is not an exaggeration when they say it takes 30 seconds to install, it comes with easy to follow instructions. It's sturdy and lovely and comes with a little handle to raise and lower the blind, which is smooth and easy. Highly recommend. UPDATE: Just purchased two more blinds for my living room. Just as before, they're perfect, they were so easy to install and they make the room look so much cleaner and brigh! Love, love, LOVE these blinds!
