This is the cup that when you catch it on sale, you take it. I love the fact that I can put ice in this cup with water and it stays cold for days. I only use it for water, which makes it that much easier to clean. Never worried about it falling or leaking. I always have a straw topper on there and the amount of different straw toppers you get makes it that much more fun. This is an amazing cup and even if you don’t get it on sale, it’s worth every penny.

Most of the praise goes go an ice mold!
I was wanting so badly to understand the allure of a cup that’s so astronomically priced that I started researching why Stanley cups are so popular right now—and in the midst of my research, I got sucked in!! I had to try one for myself. The cup by itself is pretty okay. I like the design of the straw holder that keeps bugs from being able to fly into the cup. But part of what I was told to expect was ice not melting—Not true. Regular ice melts in a heartbeat, just like it would in a paper cup. But if you buy the round ice mold that makes ice designed to stack in the cup and go around the perimeter—YES. Frigid drinks for 2 days is not a long shot. I even left my cup in the car for a couple of hours in 90+ degree heat and came back to a cup of water that felt like it was from the arctic circle. That said, I think most of the praise is for the ice mold rather than the Stanley. I’ll try the ice in a regular cheap cup I got from Dollar Tree and see if I’m correct. The cup itself is nice, but DEFINITELY not worth $35 a pop. (I bought the 30 oz.) And personally, I would be much more likely to buy something with a pleasing design rather than a solid, lackluster color choice.
