LaserSmith STAMPIN-UP INK PAD STORAGE FOR KALLAX UNITS: LaserSmith STAMPIN-UP INK PAD STORAGE FOR KALLAX UNITS: desertcart.co.uk: Home & Kitchen Review: Abfab for inks - This is a brilliant piece to hold my Stampin Up inks and it fits in an Ikea Kallax unit just fine. Very easy to put together and, although the instructions did say to glue it, I have not done so. It's holding up absolutely fine but if things slip about I will probably glue it as advised. I would definitely recommend this to a crafter who wants somewhere to store inks. Review: Excellent quality & prompt service - The item is as described. It comfortably holds Stampin Up ink pads (2 columns on the left) but Memento ink pads are a tiny bit too wide (column on the right). I have it in an Ikea Kallax "cubby hole". It could not have been easier to put together and am delighted with its overall appearance. Other buyers used glue to hold everything together. I did not use glue and it holds together just fine. This is a winner! I would buy from this seller again.

Very well made, perfect for Stampin'up ink pads
I am very pleased with my stamp storage, it is robust and very easy to put together. I followed the instructions of putting it together first to make sure the pieces fitted before applying the wood glue. The pieces slotted together so easily. So pleased I'm buying a second one!

Suitable For A Number of Different Ink Pads
I must admit some of the other reviewers photos look very impressive because the unit is filled with just one type of ink pad. But, like a lot of crafters, I have different ones in all different shapes and sizes. So to the unit itself first - I did struggle to get the main framework started. But once both the central uprights were in place the individual horizontal shelves slotted in beautifully. I haven't used any glue at all as I intend to leave it sitting on the top of my worktop. There is enough room to manoevour around the ink pads so I don't think that will cause any problems though I may well glue the top down as I have caught it by mistake a few times and it does lift off very easily. As for ink pads - I have some Classic Stampin' Up. They were recently bought at a charity craft sale so I have no idea how old they are. They jut out slightly at the front of the shelf. Distress Inks and Oxides are square so plenty of room either side of the pads. However you need to make sure you don't push them right to the back or it's a bit of a faff to reach them and pull them out. Versafine Clair. A bit of a snug fit height wise. But they do fit with the long side facing you. Color Box, Stazon and Ranger Archival. Plenty of space height wise but they only fit with the short side facing you. Versafine - fits with the long side facing you BUT don't push it in too far if you put it on the bottom section. I found out the hard way that it's an absolute pig to get out again. You need the thumb hole cut out underneath to ba able to grab it. Hope that helps

Damaged by poor packaging
Like previous products I’ve bought from this company it’s a nice product and looks good when it’s all made up. However, it arrived covered in just the flimsiest piece of fabric and had been damaged in one corner which left all the thinnest pieces very fragile and one piece broke completely. It still went together but needs to be stronger or ideally packaged in more than a thin film of plastic.
