Chosen because its brown (not always easy to get at my local shops) and gets good reviews for its lengthening effect. This is a drier formula than the black and green bottle version and doesn't seem to last as long. Overall, though, for the price, its a decent mascara.

Smudges and crumbles
Was looking forward to trying this mascara. Applies well, lovely colour and doesn't irritate my eyes. Marked down due to smudging after little wear time, and it crumbles. Not a good-wearing mascara for me so won't buy again. I don't recommend.

I really dislike wearing mascara, I have a habit of rubbing my eyes and I find most mascaras irritable, but this mascara has honestly surprised me. It’s not irritated my eyes at all and actually lengthens my lashes and looks fab. So impressed

Lengthening, volumising and long lasting. Doesn't smudge, stays on all day, doesn't weigh lashes down. Best cheap mascara ive found in years, doesn't go clumpy over time and the brush is the perfect size to get inner and outer lashes coated

Questo mascara di Essence è una fantastica scoperta! regala un volume incredibile e allunga le ciglia in modo pazzesco fin dalla prima passata. Lo scovolino è comodo da usare e cattura bene anche le ciglia più corte senza creare grumi. Ciglia lunghissime, folte e ben definite per tutto il giorno. Rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente, lo ricomprerò sicuramente!
