Worked well keeping the mosquitoes off of my granddaughter.

Love this stuff. Smells great and it works! I tested on myself to see and no bites . You do have to reapply an hour or two after but it’s fine since we aren’t at the park more than an hour or two

Works very well! However the scent is pretty strong so if you are not a fan of a lemon / citronella smell I would not recommend.

This idea is great in theory. If the smell from Citronella candles will repel mosquitoes, when why not wear a wristband infused with citronella oil that will fill the air with the smell? Brands like Cliganic as well as countless generic brands have sold thousands of these and many swear by them. It's only natural that a trusted baby brand like Hello Bello would introduce them; if this worked, it'd be far preferable to spraying young children with DEET, Picaridin, and other potentially harmful chemicals. The reality is that they do work—to a very limited extent. The main ingredients in this product are citronella oil (14%) and peppermint oil (6%). I do appreciate that Hello Bello is honest and transparent in their instructions; they correctly state that this band offers about 2 inches of repellency, so it literally protects wrists or ankles, but not a lot else. Other companies push these wrist bands as a panacea or imply that it protects your whole body, so good job by Hello Bello. Strangely they say that the bands are "reusable"; I'm assuming they mean you can spray more citronella oil on it after the original oil fades away after 2 hours or sooner. I tend to approach these with minimal expectations; they won't hurt, may repel some mosquitoes who come within a few centimeters of the repellant band, and if nothing else can provide some nice psychological reassurance and confirmation bias. But as long as you breathe and sweat (mosquitoes are mostly attracted to CO2 and body heat), your best bet is to use these as supplements to other strategies like spraying clothes, wearing long sleeve clothes, and avoiding being outdoors during mosquito feeding times or in areas with huge mosquito populations.
