Exactly what I needed and works great.

This fixed some stalling issues and hard starts. Usually I buy third party replacement parts but with this one I didn't want to risk it. It's a little hard to replace because it's located behind the oil filter and you really need to pull on it to get it out. Make sure the old o-ring is removed, check that it's on the sensor or fish it out of the hole if it's stuck. I removed the oil filter although technically you don't have to. VW support documents also refer to this as an engine speed sensor. The support document I have says for torque tighten the bolt to 10nm (89 in. lbs. which is equivalent to about 7ft. lbs. so not much) (EDIT: I should note other VW engines can have different torque settings, I'm just sharing what mine is. Make sure to get the proper tightening torque for your engine.). Also make sure it's fully seated before you start tightening. It's impossible to see but you can feel it with your hand. On the internet people say they can do this change in 20 minutes. It took me hours, it might just be the car. It was very difficult to do each step and also I drained the oil and replaced the filter since I was working in that area.

OE bosch sensor. Located behind the oil filter. Use compressed air to blow dirt hrime amd dust away. Fixed the unruly hard start, intermittent miss and in the end just a dead car. Can't go wrong at this price point

Direct replacement for my 2005 A4 B6 Audi. Easy to replace after watching a youtube video on the installation. You may want to look up how to remove the clip as that was the hardest part. The cable length was fine and I had no issues on routing the cable. A tip to remove the old sensor is to cut the wires and pull it out instead of trying to undo/redo the cable management for the old sensor. I did this, but left the old sensor installed for a few days just to make sure that the new one worked properly. Once you cut the old sensor, there's no real good way of fixing it :)

Beim Audi A4 B6 1.6 Bj. 2004 mit 102PS Motorcode: ALZ meiner Partnerin ist sporadisch der Fehler aufgetreten, dass der Motor keine Leistung mehr hatte und die Drehzahl nicht mehr anstiegt. Daraufhin habe ich den den Fehlerspeicher ausgelesen und dieser hat einen sporadisches Fehler dieses Sensors angezeigt. Daraufhin habe ich diesem getauscht und jetzt passt wieder alles. Ich bin gelernter KFZ-Techniker und der Tausch des Sensors ist grundsätzlich kein Problem. Der Tausch sollte dennoch nur von Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden. Tipp für den Sensortausch(keine Garantie und Gewährleistung für Richtigkeit und Vollständigtkeit, sowie keine Haftunng für entstehende Schäden). Er wird nur von einer Schraube gehalten. Diese ließ sich problemlos lösen und der Sensor ging leicht heraus. Der Sensor sitzt auf der beim oben beschriebenen Fahrzeug auf der linken Seite des Motorblocks eher versteckt. Am leichtesten ist es, wenn man den Stecker unter dem Kühlflüssigkeitsausgleichsbehälter(muss gelöst werden) absteckt und das Kabel verfolgt, so findet man den Sensor am einfachsten. Welches Kabel es ist ist klar ersichtlich, da die 3 oder 4 Stecker verschiedene Farben haben.(2x Lambdasonde, KW-Sensor, ev noch einer..hab ich gerade nicht mehr im Kopf) Nach dem Tausch den Fehlerspeicher löschen und fertig.
