Paired with an LG TV, the AI sound pro setting pairs very well with this soundbar. I was worried when reading the reviews which said the sound quality and subwoofer bass was very low; however, you have to know how to use this unit. Using HDMI eARC produced really low quality sound and poor bass. However, using blue tooth and optical produced excellent sound and hard hitting bass. The issue could be caused by your TV's ARC sound processor or simply a low quality HDMI cable. You should test with all modes (optical, blue tooth, ARC) to see what works for you. Considering the cost I paid for this (currently on sale for under a hundred) it sounds very good. The only short coming I would say is the remote control itself. It is pretty difficult to navigate the sound setting using the remote alone and you really have to read the manual to know what you are doing. However, you can use the LG ThinQ app to control the sound modes via blue tooth so that helps a ton.

Sound is Great! I don't often write reviews, usually I just rate them by stars. This one I feel I really have to write about. We're using this system in an area approximately 18x24 ft. Good bass from soundbar and subwoofer, good treble from the extension speakers. Everything was packed excellent for shipping. The choice of 4 different preset sound settings works perfect for any of our program choices, no need to play with any other settings. Tired of turning volume up or down for action vs what's being said? AI sound pro works fantastic to level out volume without loosing sound quality. The system connected very easily and connected wireless immediately. Some complaints I read on this system was connectivity issues, this is how we did ours and had no problems. We connected the sound bar directly to the TV with an optical cable. The Subwoofer can be placed anywhere you would like to place it, it's completely wireless and will connect to the soundbar automatically. The two small extension speakers can also be placed anywhere you want and will automatically connect to the soundbar (But the two speakers will need to be connected to each other with speaker wire, this was not a big deal for our needs) This is a great system for the price! Hope if you get one it works out as good for you as well, we really like it!
