If you want just one book on Financial Modeling, then this is that book, First of all, this book is extremely practical and covers all the issues that one should know. Second, unlike other books that primarily focus on corporate finance, this book also focuses on project finance and both corporate finance and project finance modeling have been adequately discussed in this book. Finally, the book has a link to the author's website where you can get a lot of useful Excel add-ins and macros to make you more efficient and effective.

This one is "the book for Financial Modeling" covers almost every area of project finance and corporate finance. Very handy for practitioners..

The book specifically lacks examples for end-to-end modelling. Strictly Not recommended for beginners or someone who is not familiar with project finance modelling. For people who are familiar, its a good reference book.

Papers are good..Binding is extra good.. print is super extra bad. Looks like printed from a pdf using low quality ink.. Hard on eyes. For the price I paid, wish I got the book from original print house. Do not buy unless you want this book just to showcase.

Is the must have book for anyone who is interested or involved in one way or another in the financial modeling of corporate or project finance deals. You’ll find topics that you can’t find in any other book in this category. I have learned so much from this book and wherever I go, I order one copy cause I can’t carry it with me all the time.

Vielleicht wäre ich nicht so begeistert, wenn ich das Buch gleich zu Anfang gefunden hätte, aber nachdem ich viele Aspekte der Projektfinanzierung selbst modelliert habe, und nach Lösungen für Zeitreihen und Zirkelbezüge gesucht habe, bin ich froh, endlich auf diese Tipps und detaillierten Formeln gestossen zu sein. Während man zu Excel problemlos Bücher und Webseiten findet, die Excelkniffe und gute Modellierung im allgemeinen erklären, wirft die Projektfinanzierung Fragen auf, auf die ich erst in diesem Buch Lösungen gefunden habe. Das Begleitmaterial auf der Webseite stellt auch die Dateien und Youtube Videos zur Verfügung. Arbeite mich durch Buch, Videos und Dateien durch. Am Ende hat man sein fertiges Modell; dass hatte ich bisher noch bei keiner anderen Quelle. Habe sofort begonnen, meine Modelle zu überarbeiten. Wer Modelle für Corporate Finance, Projektfinanzierung oder auch nur Business Cases in Excel macht, findet hier Ansätze mit Excelumsetzung, die viel Zeit sparen, und gleichzeitig die Transparenz der Berechnungen und die Lesbarkeit der Modelle verbessern.

A must read for all those who are into financial modeling. The book deals with all practical issues one faces while building financial models. I probably have all the books on Financial Modeling that are available in Amazon website. I will rate this book as one of the best. Most of the books on financial modeling talk about business valuation. One rarely finds a good book on project finance modeling (the Euromoney book is an exception). This book fills the void and in one book, you get the fundaments of both corporate and project finance modeling. In addition, the author describes some useful macros that will save lot of your time.

This book is great. Author gives a lot of inside tips that you would only learn on the job. Its an easy read and not too technical. I would suggest to watch the numerous youtube videos as well that are found on the authors site.
