Stable and functional. Price point is decent

NOT the best choice for elderly or disabled to get in the car. This is a nice product, lightweight, just what I was looking for. I had been using a bulky aerobics step for my aunt to use to get in my SUV, but it was heavy for me to place down on the ground and pick it back up (I'm not exactly a spring chicken myself). I thought this would work better . . . and it does as far as the weight of it goes. However, my aunt has to put both feet on the step and then turn around and sit down on the car seat. This little step is only about 17" x 13" and so with a size 10 shoe and mobility issues, it is a little disappointing. I looked at many others on Amazon and they are the same size. But there is one I found that is 19 x 15.5 (American Health Wellness brand) and it is $10 more. I will purchase that one for using with my aunt and keep this one for using around the house for myself. Photos of comparing this one to a larger one and one photo showing my size 9 feet on this one. I am using this as a "squatty potty" stool to put my feet up on it and decrease my body's leg/torso angle when using the toilet. Most stools designed for this purpose have a height of 7+ inches and are more expensive, however that height was too much for me. This one is the perfect height at about 4". It's sturdy, has rubber feet, and it's wide. One star off only because it's not very nice to look at and not aesthetically pleasing;and it doesn't fold down. However it will do the job I need it for and I'm happy with that.

Very sturdy stools. Medical grade. Safer than other stools. Bought three for a friend with cancer and put them all along the side of her bed. I had lowered the bed as much as possible, but it was still difficult for her to get in and out of bed. The stool she was using was too high, too narrow, and not stable. I have since gotten one for myself to keep in my pantry. The adjustable leg stools similar to this one are also sturdy and good quality. Every family needs to look out for their seniors and ensure that they are not using stools and stepladders that are unsafe. And no, I don't have any connection to this company. I simply found these stools on Amazon, and I think they are excellent.

I'm handicap with severe osteoarthritis in my left hip and lower back which makes it impossible to lift my left leg, with that being said, this step stool is the perfect height for me to use, it's easy and painless to get up and down from. I'm going to get a few more for different areas in the house.
