Bought this as a gift. They really loved it. The sound is loud. You could hide it and still hear the sound clearly.

My sons and even my husband love playing with this. I thought it would be a toy that is just played with a little and then would lay in the toy bin. Instead they continue to pull it out of the bin periodically to annoy each other. It creates the sound as the punchline for their jokes. It helps make giving directions more humorous and less dry. We are thoroughly getting our money's worth out of it.

If there is anyone that needs to be annoyed greatly, this is YOUR BEST PURCHASE EVER! It is absolutely hilarious to give this to a punchy and sugared up kiddo and stick them in a car with your greatest enemy (or in my case, my husband). I am sure payback will be absolutely awful. This torture noise device has GREAT battery life, which is perfect for annoying everyone, not so great if you are hoping it dies quickly.
