A Burger to Believe In: Recipes and Fundamentals [A Cookbook]

This is a must have for anyone who likes burgers ! I am buying several books for Father’s Day gifts for my husband, son, and son-in-laws. And one for me too! My first thought was how hard can it be to make a hamburger. Well, there is an easy way, a better way, and the best way! I love the way Chris Kronner, the author, gives the history of each type of burger. And thank you, Chris, for suggesting sides to go with the burgers. This will be my go-to book when entertaining all summer! OK – all year! This book far exceeded my expectations!

Each recipe details exactly what you would need to know to make any one of the recipes that made KronnerBurger the best place to get a burger in the Bay Area. If you've ever had the pleasure of eating at one of Chris' restaurants you know this chef has the meat to back up the burger. Big thanks to CK for sharing his knowledge and enabling us to build better burgers.

I've had the pleasure of eating a Kronnerburger prepared by Chris Kronner and have been waiting for his cookbook to be released ever since. It was worth the wait! The book is aesthetically pleasing. The accompanying photographs will make your mouth water. The recipes go beyond burgers and to so many amazing sides, salads and condiments. My husband was very interested in Chapter 1 and the information on dry-aging beef. For myself, I have several recipes I can't wait to try!

Wow.... it's visually pleasing. Great graphics. The information is excellent, a nice departure from a boring recipe book. I bought the hard cover and will probably buy the eBook as well.

This by far is my favorite cookbook. The burgers are amazing and i am in love with Chris’s wedge salad. Thank you Chris for sharing your creativity with us.

Love this book.Everything about burgers 🍔 is explained well. So are the condiments and side dishes. My hunt for the perfect burger is over.

It was more about the author than the food

This is a good recipe book on hamburgers, how to cook them. Several good recipes for different kinds of burgers. Different than most standard recipe books.

I bought my husband this for Christmas and he really likes it. He appreciates the author's tenacity and attention to getting a simple hamburger recipe perfected. There aren't a lot of recipes in this. It's not a recipe book. It's a few ways to make a great burger, some sides and fries and interesting story to go along with it. It's not to be read as a regular cookbook.

The best recipes from this book you can get for free on google. The rest are poetry.

This book is not for real burger lovers. This is a book for millenials who feel they have to reinvent everything and most time with unfortunate results
