These arrived today. I took a risk and trusted the size guide on the site ... they fit - but it is a tight fit. The hand section is a nice firm fit but the fingers are made for skinnier ones than mine. I am expecting them to have a bit of stretch in them so with some wear they should be just right. My son didn't think they looked cut proof and tried them out for himself. He is happy to confirm they work a treat for a slicing action but not so much for a stab - he was smart enough to take his hand out before trying that one :-)

... weil man ja heutzutage in Deutschland leider nicht mehr ohne schnittfeste Schutzkleidung auf die Straße gehen kann. Habe mich entschieden, fürs erste mit dem Schutz der hochempfindlichen Hände anzufangen, zumal Schutz auch alltagstauglich sein muß. Es will ja kein normaler Mensch mit schwarzer, dicker Kampfrüstung draußen rumlaufen ;-) Gegen MesserSTICHE ist man mit diesen Handschuhen natürlich nicht geschützt, aber zumindest gegen Schnitte. Und das ist auf jeden Fall besser als gar kein Schutz. Mein TEST: Ich habe ein Stück dicke Korkplatte in einen Handschuh reingelegt und dann mit einem scharfen Victorinox-Taschenmesser das Material getestet. Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich nicht viel erwartet bei dem niedrigen Preis, aber dann wurde ich sehr positiv überrascht! Denn der Stoff hat zahlreiche Schnitte, die ich mit größtmöglichem Kraftaufwand durchführte, problemlos ausgehalten und blieb unversehrt. Super! Ich habe auch andere Marken getestet, aber mich letztlich für diese Handschuhe von NoCry mit den Noppen entschieden, weil man damit ein besseres Griffgefühl hat. Ein Regenschirm-Griff z.B. oder das Smartphone kann dadurch nicht aus der Hand rutschen. Und durch den Elasthan-Anteil ist die Passform besser/enger.

Product arrived exactly as expected, small size gloves fit me perfectly. They seem quite durable, and prove good for use with carving tools. I especially like the rubber grip pads for holding wooden blade handles that would be slippery against regular fabric gloves. I feel more safe wearing these while carving as I have quite shaky hands that make me prone to slips/accidents, and I'm not too keen on losing any of my fingers. I am still careful to mind my hands and keep everything behind the blade in order to prevent any possible accidents, but the added protection of these gloves gives me more peace of mind. I understand these only reduce the chances of serious harm, and that they are not to be solely relied on for safety. I can definitely imagine still doing some significant damage while wearing these if I got too careless. Heads up; They are a snug fit, and I have fairly skinny hands so I might recommend those with thicker hands/fingers order a size up. They may stretch a bit with more use, but I doubt it as the weave is very sturdy. That being said, the seller was very quick to establish communication about my satisfaction with the product and I would expect they would have no problem sending replacements for anyone who needs a different size than they originally ordered. Overall I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend this product to anyone else who is handling sharp manual tools.

I bought this with my julienne sliver as it did not come with a safety holder. Works great. Four stars as it started to fray a little on the tips of the fingers when I was getting the the itty bitty parts of the vegetable when I used them for the first time. Also four stars because the small size fits people with small skinny fingers. I have short fingers but I guess they must be fat as the gloves don’t fit the fingers well. I have to kind of force the fingers down by interlocking my fingers to push the material down so the glove will fit better on my hand. It does protect my hand from the julienne blades and I will likely use them with any grater and knife work. I have a second pair to use in other sharp things like when I change out my quilting rotary blades. Useful to have around. Glad I have them.
