It works
I was a bit hesitant purchasing this based on the previous two iffy (fake?) reviews and the "customer" questions which had a similar pattern of incorrect English grammar. And why would both previous reviews state "It saved my gadgets"? Didn't make sense to me. Very odd I thought. Anyway, I pulled the trigger since it was $3 cheaper than the Amazon branded ethernet adapter. The small box it arrived in was in terrible condition, almost open, with no tape at all to secure it during transport. Really sloppy, I thought. Thankfully the actual product was in a small bag and looked new. The adapter I received has no branding on it at all, unlike the pictures which show "Belker". Even the box that it came with only had a crooked Belker sticker on it which could be removed. But after plugging it into my Fire TV 3 (4K), it worked right off the bat. I was having intermittent disconnects with my FTV3 in my home's very stable mesh wifi network (the FTV3 was the only gadget that did this; I tried 2 different ones and same behavior). When I sometimes woke it from sleep, I annoyingly had to re-enter our long wifi password each time. Thankfully, with this "Belker" adapter, the FTV3 is now wired and no more disconnects are occuring. I'm getting 94mbps down using an old CAT5 cable (this is NOT a gigabit adapter after all). So, 5 stars for now since it works as advertised. Let's hope it lasts.

Works great with Roku and FireTV devices
I bought this on the recommendation of the folks at Roku for a Roku Express 4K+. The connections were easy to make and the device has long(er than most) cables that make this convenient to use. Plug this device into the Roku in place of the power cable that comes with the Roku and connect an ethernet cable to our router or switch and plug in the power brick that came with the Roku. Boom, instant connectivity to your wired network. I did not have to make any adjustments on the Roku device, it recognized it was attached to a wired network and used that instead of wifi. I bought a second one to make another TV with a FireTV stick connect to the wired network and the experience was the same - it works great. Super happy with this device. Like most of these devices that actually work with Roku/FireTV, they are limited to 100Mbps, not 1000Mbps like most ethernet devices. i have never found this to be an issue (so far). I would have given it 5 stars but the device has no indicator lights on it showing power or ethernet connectivity. While I don't need that to determine if the device is working, it would be nice to see at least an indicator that the device was connected to power. I'd have given it a 4.5 rating but we don't have that here :)

4mbs download to 80mbs!!
5/6/2020 Just finished the setup and its not letting me put up a picture but went from 4mbs(wifi) download to 80mbs...my router is right next to the TV. I bought two. They both worked. Both 80mbs download. I am using a switch. It seems to be working like a champ. I also used it on chrome and firestick. Fire stick was weird that I had to go to network setting to hit play. (If you click select it had me put in a ip address but just click play). Chromecast restarted a couple times first but other than that no setup issues. I did have it on my wifi connected to my phone first. So idk how well it will work if you just start from scratch.

4k firstick ethernet adapter
I like u can connect an ethernet cable to this for the firestick 4k tv it's hard to tell if it made it quicker for cutting load times but it almost seems the same I have a 400mb connection with comcast so it's very good and this is almost loading movies the same. But I think that's because this device limits the speed of the ethernet cable to a 100mbs which sucks that's probably why the loading feels the same. But it doesn't pause in the middle of watching a movie anymore to load so that's good. It does work but I wish it didn't cut the loading limit to 100mbs. But that's what I have to say about it. If there are better ones out there I'd get those instead

Plug and play with my Roku Express 4k+ (model 3941)
Going from wireless to wired ethernet makes navigation in the apps much smoother. Scrolling/browsing videos in Youtube and Hulu is quicker. The Max app still has some lag, but it's much more responsive. I just got it, so I can't speak for it's longevity. I hope it lasts. I just plugged it in to my Roku Express 4k+ (3941) and it worked. The Roku disconnected from wireless and connected using the wired interface automatically. Note only certain models of Roku can use this adapter. Go to "support.roku.com" and look for a document titled "How to use USB to connect your Roku streaming device to a wired network" to see a table that shows which models can use this specific adapter. As of now, though similarly named, the "Roku Streaming Stick 4K" (3820) and "Roku Streaming Stick 4K+" (3821) are not supported by this adapter. Some Roku Streambar models can use an adapter, but not this one.
