They are listed as "dissecting" scissors, but they are great for crafting--embroidery, paper, thin wires, etc. The size is small enough to be portable and without getting flagged while boarding planes, but not too small to be a pain to use. The handle loops are a good size, ie. not too small. It has sharp edges all the way to the tip, similar to pricey Gingher brand. These are made in Pakistan. At this price, you should have one for each craft/basket. Would make a great gift for fellow crafters.
