It is durable and I use it to read multiple SD and Micro SD cards. The transfer speeds to my MacBook and from it to the SD cards are quick. Don’t expect to get 5Gbps with every card you use, the better the card the better the transfer speed and your laptop/computer. But it does the job more than well. If you have a MacBook without the SD card slot and work with a lot of content creation, then this is a must have.

I bought this card reader recently from Amazon. I could find several similar items on Amazon with Different branding and almost at same price point and I was confused which one to get out of these. After reading the reviews and pictures posted by the customers I decided to go with this particular product. The Card reader serves its purpose, I have bought this card reader to access my SanDisk 128GB SDXC Memory card from my Canon camera. It works flawlessly on my 2020 mac having only Type-C ports. So you need not worry whether it will be supporting with your Mac's having Type-C ports (I was worried whether it will support my Mac). Its compact and light weight, easy to carry. I always keep it in my Camera Bag along with my memory cards. I don't find any delay in transfer speed as my Memory cards are class 10 and has a transfer speed of 170 MBPS. The only flaw that I found if I am net picking is that build quality its flimsy plastic material. If you are carrying it with bigger backpacks and with heavy lenses, there are chances that the Card Reader might break if you use it carelessly. You can go ahead and purchase it for your Normal day to day life usage considering the cheap pricing and value for money perspective

 This card reader is well made plastic. Lightweight and simple. Connects to USB type C devices. Worked on my One Plus and Macbook.  I have connected in one plus 6 and light wasn’t blinking, I thought it was defective product but then I after i went to setting and on my OTG function from settings and light has started blinking. Then I have tried and it works fine.  So all users please note before you use the card reader you need to on the OTG functions from the Settings.  Also I have tried in Mac 2017 And it works fine. As soon as I had pluged in its started working.

Well, the product itself is good but why does the photo include sandisk SDXC? Anybody would think that Micro memory card is also free with it so plz remove and add an more appropriate picture

LED Notification Light that shows the working and using process 6. In Local Market Type C Card Reader is not Available Thanks to Both Amazon and Company 7. These product has poor performance, I purchased it earlier and didn't used for 10 days after some days I got my new smart phone via amazon I used this product to check whether it works properly it showed me good sign but the red light thing is very annoying sometimes on the reader. The second day I try to use it it's not working . It's been so many days refund or replacement not possible for this product. Value for money I guess not for me.

Hi, guys, I am Deepak and this is my review for the Cable Hunter USB Type C Card Reader I have used this for more than a week and these are my observations: ************************************************************************************************* ----------------- Speed Test ----------------- On the USB 2.0 it gives an average read speed of 10 mbps For the USB 3.0 it gives an average read speed of 75 mbps Note: I have used a sony memory card with the high speed of 40mbps The data transfer speed is actually good. But with a slower memory card speed can be really low. ------------------- Build Quality ------------------- The body of the card reader is made up of plastic which is a standard of most of the card readers. You get to see a led indicator on the top of the Card reader which indicates that the card is working or not. One thing to note though the plastic body picks up a lot of scratches. ----------- Verdict: ----------- In the end, I would say that at this price point this type C card reader is worth the price spend. ************************************************************************************************* Thanks for reading my review
