Salonpas Pain Relieving Jet Spray, 4 Fl Oz

I'll tell you what I wondered. The can covers a lot more area/has a many more applications than a 5 pack of the 2 x 3 inch patches that are supposed to last up to 12 hours and the cost is approximately the same. No, it not as long lasting. I was getting 4 to 6 hours of relief from the spray but it's a piece of cake to apply more and you can apply it up to 4 times a day. Hold your breath when you spray though. That stuff is intense on the sinuses. Oh, and it's not the most pleasant smelling when wet but, once dry it seems pretty reasonable. All of that said, I bought a pack of the patches (which I had already been using) along with the can because the can was an unknown and I didn't want to be in pain all night until I could get more patches. I haven't opened the patches (which is good because you only get 14 days to use them once you open the pack) and I've used the can about 8 times now. For a sort of pain level reference, I use this product on my shoulder. I have a small rotator cuff tear, bone spurs, and a bit of arthritis in the same joint and, at times, the pain will radiate down my arm and up my neck if I don't treat it. It doesn't erase the pain but it does make it completely reasonable and allows me to sleep and keeps it from running amok. I am very pleased.

I love this stuff You can get it at Walmart but ppl buy it up ! So glad to find it here ! It’s my number one thing I use when I’m in pain and hurting ! The spray is cold when you put it on and where ever your really hurting at when you spray it in that spot it’s going to hurt ! I feel like the tin man in the wizard of oz when I spray it on I feel so much better like I can move again ! If you use any thing else to rub down with put that on first then spray this on your body and get on a hot pad or buy a dr schools massager on amazon and get on that and trust me together with all of that you’ll feel better may take a few days but usually after 3 days you’ll feel like your old self again no matter what age you are ! It’s really good if you have sciatica problems !

The freezing spray really, really helps with tension type headaches...the type that runs across your shoulders, into your neck, over the top of your head and into your temples. I spray my neck, shoulders, temples and hairline. Helps quite a bit but I wish I could find a spray that would help more. I don't stink all day like I do with other products...the smell dissipates rather quickly. I have a medical condition that makes it difficult for me to take pills so this has really helped me a lot. I just know there has got to be something that works a better. I have tried a couple of other sprays and creams and have been disappointed so I keep coming back to this. I will keep looking and update if I find anything that works better.

Ordered for a relative with gout. Not what the product is really marketed to address, it doesn't seem, so even more important for me to share this review. I am not in the medical field, and have no medical training. The product seems to be primarily for muscular pain. Gout seems to be inflammation in the joints, not muscles. It was a long shot, but when I saw the pain relieving "jet" spray, I took a chance it might work. The gout pain is extreme, I understand. We go in another room, as it is aerosol, to keep the spray from being in the air while he rests. Within moments, he can feel the relief begin. The pain isn't totally gone, but it is significantly diminished. Thank you, Salonpas!! Thank you Amazon!

I sprain my back and A friend highly recommended Salonpas, I love this product I have tried other pain relievers and I have to say this is the best one I’ve ever tried and I’m going to be using this forever! As soon as you spray the pain is gone, Spray is light not thick plus the odor is light not long lasting smell, when you spray it is a little cold BUT It works instantly warming up the area. I highly recommend this pain reliever, My advice is keep a spare bottle on hand very hard to find in the stores.

I have arthritis in hips and have lower back pain. This product helps reduce my pain. It lasts maybe 1 hour for me, but that is good because it provides time for my pain med (Tramadol) to kick in to provide longer pain relief. I like the convenience of the spray and no mess. I tried the patches and they really stick to the skin firmly. I do not like creams because cleanup is required...clean cream off hands, plus skin feels slimmy with creams. The spray seems to dry fast, but still provides pain relief.

I use this for neuropathic itch relief on my arms and shoulders. Feels cold when sprayed on which is what I need for relief. Stops the itch quickly but not always for an extended period of time. I would buy again for this purpose. Have no idea whether it stops pain since that is not my issue. Wish it was a little cheaper.

I work out frequently and saw that this got high reviews so I thought I would try it after I work out. Wellllll in fact it caused pain, not sure why , could be that this works very well for muscular pain but not other kinds, or a problem with dry skin , who knows. When I put it on there was a sharp pain that made things worse and it was clearly from the spray since the pain was only where I put the spray. I think it is probably due to the Menthol , but not sure. So my suggestion is try to figure out the nature of your pain before you use it, may be perfect for you or may not be a good idea.

Helps as usual but very very expensive with this price gor sure will not buy. Thought it's a bigger size maybe I didn't check well.
