Satisfyingly rips all my pores out
โญ WHY I BOUGHT: I'm in my mid 20s and I've been using nose strips since high school. I also grew up in South Korea, so hopefully that gives a basis of where I'm going with this: I'm obsessed with skincare and getting that "glass skin" look. I hate my sebaceous filaments. I know they're natural and I know they're technically not whiteheads or blackheads. I don't care, they still look gross and makes my nose look so much bumpier compared to the rest of my face. I have a different brand of nose strips that I liked to use, but it's not perfect. I'll have good strip sessions but also really bad ones in sort of finicky conditions: if I use too much or too little water, if I leave it on for too long or too short, or even if I sweat too much, the nose strip won't work. Saw this Biore Original on sale, decided to give it a shot because I was running out of my other nose strips anyway. And holy moly I'm never going back. My nose is so soft and smooth I keep booping myself. โญ PROS: โข It works. Like actually works. I would post some photos but they're disgusting and I'm shy. Believe when I say it's pore-gasm though. โข I like the fuzzy exterior because it's very absorbent and doesn't turn sticky when I touch it with wet hands. I feel like I can freely put an ample amount of moisture on the pore strip without worrying if it's too much. โข Biggest issue I usually have with pore strips is that due to the curves of my nostrils they create these little air pockets between my skin and the strip so they're not even touching. These strips stick to my nose properly as they should, curves and all. And they stay there. โข It dries fast. Normally, my "deep cleanse" full skin routine (yeah, it's an obnoxious 10-step routine but I only do it once every two weeks) would take 1.5 hours and like 40 minutes of it is literally waiting for the pore strip to dry completely so I can peel it off successfully. This strip takes half that time to dry and works twice as well. Almost makes me feel like I'm "half-assing" my routine. โญ CONS: โข This is more of a pro tip than a con, but a message for people who think this thing doesn't work: you're most likely not exfoliating or opening up your pores properly prior to use. If you just slap it on without prepping your pores you're going to get nothing. That's like trying to pry out a nail without unscrewing it a bit first. โข Not for the sensitive skins. The adhesive is pretty strong and if you're not careful, it'll rip your skin off too. My skin is fine but even I won't do it more than once every other week. Try to stretch your cheek away from the strip as you're peeling it off to avoid getting wrinkles. Because it's like basically peeling off strong tape from your face, it might affect your skin elasticity if you're not careful.

Nice
You take these little tape like things and apply them to your nose. It then attaches itself to the blackheads and as you easily peel the tape back, the blackheads will be pulled out. It is very stivky. And has a fairly good result but it depends on yhe individual. It peels well even though it is very stickey. It is a so so value fir your money. 8 patches for your money is not that great. 20 or even 50 patches would make it a great price.

Works, but not as good as the older style/application
So, I'll admit, it's been years since I've used these Biore strips. Long enough to notice that the "technology" has changed over the years with these strips. The ones I used to use dried much faster and didn't have that cotton-like feel. You simply pulled them from the pouch, wet your nose, wet the strip, apply and then wait 5-10 mins before pulling off. These new strips take longer, have an extra step of peeling them from a piece of plastic and take 10-15 mins to dry (I think it's longer because of that cotton-like backing that probably takes longer to dry) After applying, I noticed it didn't cover down the tip of my nose as it used to. If I moved the strip down, it left part of the bridge of my nose uncovered. So, I ended up using part of another strip afterwards to use for the tip of my nose...kind of a waste of a strip (but I cut the strip to shape, so I'll have excess to use for other times at least lol) Overall, the experience was the same. Once the strip dried, it became that paper mache that I had been used to. Pulling off the strip was easy and not as painful as I'd expected after not using the product for so long. After cleaning up the strip residue and washing my face, I noticed that my nose was a little red. I chalked this up to suffocating my skin for 10-15 mins with the strip and the "glue" it uses lol. The redness went away almost right away, but a puffiness stayed for another 30 mins. Again, nothing alarming, as I monitored to make sure I wasn't having any skin reactions. That said, I do have very sensitive skin, and was ready for this to cause some type of reaction (the old Biore strips did the same things back in the day to my nose). But I was happily surprised that I had no ill effects from the process and today, after about a week after I used the strips, my nose still looks fine. So I think I'll use these now and then going forward.

Works well with some added steps!
I bought these for myself, my boyfriend, and my sister to use together. I only have a couple blackheads but they have more, so I thought it would be fun to extract them and try to shrink their pores back down. I added a few steps that you may find helpful in getting the most out of your nose! lol 1) Exfoliate the area. We wet our noses and rubbed a scrub on them gently for a bit, then washed it off. This helps get off anything that can be blocking the opening of the pore. 2) Steam. We carefully steamed our faces to open the pores for easy extraction. 3) Apply the strip as directed. Wet your nose and then apply the strip. We left them on for 15 mins. Mine only took out a couple but I knew I was not going to have a bountiful harvest lmao but my sister and my boyfriend had great success! Sure it pulls out some tiny hairs but their blackheads were OUT! It was so cool to see. 4) Ice. Once we wiped down our noses after the strip removal, we iced our noses after to cool the skin and close the pores. Then moisturized after. For reference: I have sensitive skin, my sister is in the middle, and my boyfriend isn't sensitive at all, and we all used these without discomfort. I have normal skin, my sister is dry, and my boyfriend is oily. We are all between 26-30 years old. I would be gentle with older or thinner skin maybe. Your nose will tingle a bit after but I think that is normal lol. I think this product works super well if you have a fair amount of blackheads! I am not a professional but I do think some of the success was attributed to the prep work we did! Good luck!

Okay- just not for me
They didn't work all that great for me, but they did work better than the black ones. The black ones irritated my skin, and made my skin burn for days as if I had sunburn. They also did not pull anything out what so ever but tiny hairs. When I peeled these off (the white ones), they left a tiny bit of residue but only in one or two spots. The black ones left black junk in my pores and it was awful. These just don't work all that well for me. I had to go behind and squeeze the black heads it didn't get. It pulled some out and some halfway out. I had maybe one or two spots on my strip and my nose is chalk full of black heads. The thing that got me was it got some, but only half way. I'm giving it 3 stars because it doesn't irritate, dried quick, the adhesive is great, its a good price and does work for some people. Maybe its just not for me. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

Perfect results
Wow. I've struggled with blackheads for years and I wasn't expecting these to work when I tried them, but Biore pore strips are absolutely amazing. You wet your nose, place the strip firmly on top, and wait 15 minutes. SLOWLY peal the strip off, and you can see all the blackheads removed by the strip. I ordered these on Saturday and got them on Tuesday. My first use had decent results. Not as many were removed as I was hoping for, but there was still a good amount gone and I was thrilled. I was expecting removal to hurt based on some other reviews, but it's seriously as painless as removing a bandaid. I've even got the most sensitive skin in the world and it didn't hurt in the slightest. I was already addicted by the first use. Although the box says to wait 3 days, I ended up using my second only eight hours later. This time I showered 20 minutes before I used it. The results were AMAZING. So much ended up on the strip, and my nose is clearer than it has been in years. There are still a few blackheads, but I'm confident they're be cleared up soon. I noticed a lot of empty pores, I'm not sure what'll happen to them (will they shrink? disappear? stay the same?) as I've never seen mine not filled with gunk! My nose is a little tender now, but that's probably just from two uses in the same day. I'll be waiting a few days before using another.

Not effective. Leaves the residue on your nose, doesn't peel it up
These aren't as effective as the old biore strips. I had a great time with them in the past but these leave the residue on my nose everytime no matter how much I leave them on to dry. 0 of them picked anything up because the adhesive was stuck to my nose. Definitely not the same formula as 10 years ago.

Great beauty product.
Not only removes all my blackheads but also the little tiny hairs that seem to sprout in the corner of my nose. Leaves me with a beautifully clean fresh complexion. Love it.
