This borax from Casa De Amor was found to be exceptional in quality at an exceptional price. I bought it for cleaning purposes. Specially to clean scale due to hard water used on any surface. It is very easy to use. Just one tablespoon of it in a cup of hot water and you are ready to go. A wet rag and a mild scrub is all that is required. The tiles in the bathroom, the bathtub, the toilet seat, washing machine etc. all cleaned in a jiffy. For tougher scale, it is recommended that you let the solution remain on it without washing it away. It will keep working on the stain. A little of this product added to the washing powder cleans your clothes like never before. Now, I'll tell you a more personal use of it. Use it as a hair cleaner instead of shampoo. Make a similar solution, apply it to your hair making sure it reaches the scalp, let it remain there for a few minutes, wash it and feel the difference. If you find your hair dry, just massage a little hair oil. This can be done once or twice a week for exceptional results. It helps in eliminating hair fall due to hard water. Though a green cleaner, use of gloves is recommended because of high ph value of 9+ of the borax solution. Use it if you have a problem with hard water and be amazed.
