I'd like to know how "LONG" these sections are, per section. I have an experiment and need length???

The black fiberglass rods themselves are 25.50 inches long. The silver clasps that go between the rods are 2.5 inches long. 2 rods connected with a single connector between them result in a total length of 51.25 inches (this should help answer the question of how much of a gap exists between the rods if you need that info).Hope this helps.

Is this product designed to repair a broken section of tent poles or to replace the entire pole?

This is used to repair a pole. However if the length is the same as the pole you need to repair it could also be used as a replacement. I used mine to repair a section of one of my poles. I had to cut it a little shorter but it worked great.

How flexible are these poles, will they bend to form a half circle?

I have a Coleman Highline tent that uses a 5' pole that bends to a half circle to form a front porch with the rain fly. The original pole was 6.3mm diameter but is a very difficult replacement to find. I broke my original and replaced it with this 7mm diameter pole. I'm using 3 sections cut down to 5' total. This 7mm is a bit harder to bend but not much. And it didn't break when I tried it out. Only time will tell if it will keep bending without breaking. But so far, seems like it might work fine.

is this compatible for a child's play tent?

Yes, but will require a trim to shorten it. I get this for the Disney princess tent (cheap, indoor, floorless play tent). Should have replaced both though since the new one is stronger and more robust pole than the original and now the tent sits sideways. Buy 2 trim and replace both.

Came in handy for tent repair. Fishing the Lind thru poles was a bit tricky but a must have for camping enthusiasts especially if you have kids that are rough on tents

Perfect

I had several broken poles for a kid-sized toy tent and couldn't find replacements. These poles were too long but I was able to cut them to size (obligatory fiberglass hazard warning) and they were exactly the same size. Much higher quality and stiffer (a little problematic but I only needed to replace part of the pole) than the original cheap fiberglass poles they were replacing. The tension cord is also excellent quality and the mix of fittings and connectors gave me a lot of repair options.

Good product if it is packaged and manufactured correctly

I ordered 3 packages. 1 of the packages had missing parts. The other package had mis-drilled tent poles. The inside was not drilled large enough to put the shock cord through. Amazon is sending replacements.

Diameter is a little small but works

Works ok but the outside diameter is smaller than expected. This makes the metal joint sleeves slide out of place. You can put them where they need to go before flexing and they’ll stay. Ultimately a cheap fix to keep my old tent going one more year.

Well made and easy to make tent repairs.

I used this to replace a broken tent pole. The diameter was an exact match to my (very) old broken pole. Because it is longer than needed, it was easy to cut to length for match the old one. Restringing was a breeze with the included stretch cord. So glad I could find this product. Now tent is like new.
