I truly think this is an error- Amazon would not voluntarily increase a price by 1000% unless somehow the computer or human operating it missed that the comp price was for a 12 pack... I haven't taken that up with them though...

Why does everybody have to keep asking this question? how many bottles did you get in the one order?

This is because a 12 pack was offered at a very comparable price ($10.00+) as the price for a single bottle. The single bottles were not only a rip off, but were also being shipped in envelopes that were apt to break the caps, resulting in a larger number of damages than the norm. I would be willing to bet some people bought a $10 single bottle, and are asking for that reason.
