Exceeds my expectations
I needed to replace a broken basting brush and considered many options. Many reviews for bristle brushes complained of the bristles coming out and food items being spoiled as a result, so I thought I would try a silicone baster. It works and is a good quality, but just does not hold liquids as they baste on as well as I would like. So I decided to go back to a bristle basting brush and selected this and I am very pleased. There may have been a couple of loose bristles when I opened the package, but none since and the quality of the materials is excellent. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

I actually used it to paint instead of what it was made for
And because I used it to paint instead of just put stuff on food, it wore out very quickly, but I can’t necessarily blame the brush on that. I didn’t use it for what it was supposed to be used for but guess what? It worked, and it actually worked very well and it lasted several months before it died out. So if you can handle painting, stairs and walls, I think it can definitely handle your food for years.

Works better than a silicone brush
I've had this for a number of years because it is so much more efficient at brushing on glazes then those wiggly silicone brushes. I almost always wash it by hand and let it dry before putting it away but it is starting to lose bristles. So it's time for another one. I prefer this one any day to a silicone brush.

Disappointing product
I rarely leave negative reviews. In fact I rarely even ever leave a review at all but I have to say how disappointed I am in this basting brush. I washed it before using it, of course & noticed that a bristle or 2 came out as I was drying it. I thought that was the end of the bristles falling out but when I used it for the first time quite a few more bristles came out. I removed them, at least I thought I removed them all but found more on the cooked chicken after removing it from the oven. This is so disappointing for a Cuisinart product.

Good size.
I decided to replace many of my kitchen gadgets that are plastic/silicone. I haven't used it yet but I'm glad I bought it to replace a bigger silicone one. Hopefully it will clean up well & not stain too much. I like the smaller size; easier to use than the one I had.

Good pastry brush
Perfect pastry brush. Soft bristles that don't fall out like my last one

Falling apart
I only use these to spread barbecue sauce butter or oil and the bristles are already falling apart in my food I believe I deserve a refund

Works very well. I don’t like the silicone brushes and always use natural. I found the fibres on this to be secure.

Not worth the price. Right out of the pack, the bristles would fall apart and stick to whatever we were basting. Waste of money.

Really terrible product. And I’ll tell you why. The bristles are made out of plastic. They came off the brush when I was brushing some butter on top of my bread before baking it. Because of the bristles color, it’s hard to see when they come off. Double trouble. Such a disappoint and what a waste of money (and my patience!).
