The lids pop off constantly making this product unsuitable for food use. It creates food contamination opportunities and safety hazards with damaged spilled food.

We ordered these stainless steel containers for use in the kitchen, but we also found use for them in the garage. The stainless steel is thick enough to be durable, but not heavy. The containers work great in the kitchen. They are far better looking than our old plastic ones. We are already using them for storing things in the kitchen and the garage. We use them in the refrigerator, freezer and on the counter. In the garage, they help us store and keep track of the many things that usually clutter up the top of the workbench. We usually have four or five projects going at any time, and these containers help us keep the various supplies separated. The containers are a good size for most of our needs. We love our new stainless steel containers and would definitely recommend them!

The steel containers seem to be of good quality, relatively. The lids are basically useless. The lids do not fit well and are do not remain secure on the containers.

I purchased these stainless steel containers to help keep my frozen herb cubes and frozen tomatoes organized. These are working well. What I like: ✅ stainless steel: will last a long time and safe for food ✅ Size: fits well and I can stack 3 high on the top shelf What I don’t like ❌ the lid: it’s a hard plastic which still defeats the moving way from plastics idea. It also doesn’t close easily or stay closed. Very finicky. At first I thought it was over filled but I used an empty one and same thing. I will likely continue to shop around or find another solution for the lid.

Don’t waste your money. The kids pop off at the slightest movement. Totally defeats the purpose.

I bought this 12-pack of stainless steel food storage containers, but I'm actually planning to use them as proofing tins for homemade bread. They seem like they'll be perfect for that! I noticed some people complained about the lids, but honestly, I haven't had any issues with them. They fit just fine for what I need. The containers feel sturdy, are a nice size, and I can already tell they'll get plenty of use in my kitchen.

The rolled edges are extremely sharp and they are a little thin. Other than that, they are OK. If I didn't absolutely need them for a project, I would have returned them. But, I'm ok with it. You just need to be careful about the edges. For me, I'm not baking in them so I think I can just put some silicone caulk on them to make them a little safer.
