Data scientists must read this book. It has so much good content. I recommended. I liked the way the authors explain how to treat and test variables.

The book came as advertised and is very comprehensive in explaining how multivariate data works. A must have for social sciences and business majors.

The book arrived faster than anticipated however, I’m thinking this is not for distribution in the United States (see picture). I don’t know if this is missing anything or not... thought others should know.

The paper is very thin and made of poor quality. Not very satisfied with the printing and paper of the book. Find a E-book instead.

Excelente producto.

This book is one of its class. I simply love it. I am using it for my Multivariate Statistical Analysis course in my MSc in Econometrics (PCA, Clustering, Factor Analysis, etc), and I am defenitely getting much much more than just my course contents. There were other books to choose from 5 options, I chose this one because it is a very updated edition, the way in which the chapters are structured is great, the clarity and the pedagogy of the contents is awesome. A truly one of its class. The authors intentions is to make a book that is valuable for academics as well as industry-practitioners. This book is my personal recommendation for people who want to learn data analytics and in this way skilled yourself with thes amazing techniques for todays world.

Very good for educational purposes

Hair et. al. have written a veritable compendium of multivariate data analysis (MDA). The 8th edition begins with an overview of different MDA methods and provides a details the importance of variable examination and selection. In the following 3 sections, the authors delve deep into various techniques such as Exploratory Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Multiple regression, MANOVA, MDA, and Logistic regression. (The 7th edition covers additional topics such as Conjoint Analysis and MDS.) The final section covers SEM techniques and PLES-SEM methods. Overall a great book.

Mistakes, omissions, typos and other types of errors are found here and there in this book. Mistakes (e.g. into paragraph 2, p. 575, log of 0 = 1) Omissions (e.g. into paragraph 1, p. 573, there is no word variables after nonmetric independent) Typos (e.g. In Rules of Thumb 8-1, p. 557) Other types of errors (e.g. into paragraph 6, p. 495, the words ''in the actual'' are written 2X) Recognising the imperfect nature of the world, I rate the book with 5 stars. My full credit to the authors!
