I freaking love this thing
I love everything about this board. I love riding it, I love holding it, I love looking at it! The grip just bites into your shoes and provides a crazy amount of sure-footedness when riding. The Skate City trucks came pretty loose and turned great right out of the box; it makes tight turns seem like no problem, and the carves you can do on this little thing is insane. The addition of a front kick is great if you like doing tricks (I'm more of a straight cruiser myself), although I do have to say that the kicktail is a little short. The wheels are amazing - I just love the fact that they have such a fat lip and are so soft! It makes going over cobblestone and rough pavement smoother than you might think. The only quip I have to say about them is that I wish they were a little bigger (they're 57mm, I'd prefer at least 60), but the sheer width of them more than makes up for it. The only really "bad" thing about this board are (like most, if not all boards) the bearings - they come with ABEC 3 bearings, which are pretty bad, but I switched them out with my old ABEC 7's, and I'm going to replace those with some Magic bearings in a few days. The color choices are pretty bright and colorful, when I saw my blue one in cruiser in person for the first time, I immediately fell in love! Like all plastic skateboards, however, it seems more of a toy than an actual skateboard. This is just preference though, and if you're looking for both a great, fun little cruiser and a sweet fashion accessory, this board is a great option.

Perfect for my daughter learning to skate board
I thought I would pick this up for my daughter and myself, but quickly remembered it's been ages since I've been on a board. This small size is perfect for my daughter that is learning to skateboard. She's gonna be a ripper.

Worst board ever IMO. Awful at carving. Shame Lance Mountain is behind this one

neat, fun, but...
Fun little board that has better grip than most other plastic boards. The colors are great and really eye catching (got green with yellow wheels). I think that the wider size 57mm wheel makes it more stable as well, even though the trucks are mini. I couldn't tell if I got a lot of flex from the board since I'm pretty light. However, make sure you have a skate tool to loosen the trucks, since they come really tight, and don't allow for carving. Also, the bearings are abec 3 I'm sure, since it's pretty slow. You will find yourself having to push a lot, especially if there are more bumps/rough road where you live. Slow bearings also make it harder to carve since you'll be pushing more. It's also a bummer that other colors are cheaper (why???). Not worth $100 with the abec 3s, they could've at least been abec 5. 3.5 stars because of this.

Christmas for my son
First, Gold Cup makes a better retro cruiser board than Penny, Stereo, Bantam or any other company that has jumped onto the bandwagon. Skate City trucks are better than the generic "blank" trucks used on other cruisers. Gold Cup Stoke-em's wheels are terrific. The deck has a concentric circle pattern with the circles at different heights - provides superior grip out of the box. My son skated a Penny board and his feet slipped off the board. He wanted a cruiser without grip tape and this is the best and it's from NHS, Inc. Bearings - they're fast. This is the fastest cruiser I've seen / skated. No need to lubricate bearings - it rides great.Skateboarding legend Lance Mountain had a hand in the development of this product. It's better than any other cruiser on the market.

The best penny skateboard around
I got this board because it was designed by a true skateboarder (Lance Mountain) that was popular while I was growing up. I figured Lance would never allow his name to be associated with a crap skateboard, even a tiny penny board like this one. Fortunately, I was right this time: this board rides tight and fast, feels good on the road, is perfect for rough terrain (but not with potholes or anything though), and best of all -- the patent-pending "3D" etched plastic grip really works! I've ridden this board with all types of shoes and sandals, and compared to some of the other penny boards I've tried, this one is by far the grippiest and thus most rideable penny board I've tried.

Good for it size
This is a very small skate board but my grandson loves it. He has three different sizes and this one is his favorite

Great little cruiser!
This is my first little cruiser, and it works great as a form of transportation to and around campus. I checked out the cheaper alternatives at Walmart etc., but decided to pay the extra amount for quality. I have not once regretted this purchase and use my board more or less every day, and have started bringing it to the local skatepark. It is definitely not made for tricks but rather for transportation and cruising around, although with enough practice you'll be able to do small ollies and 'shove its' and so on. I recommend wearing safety gear as these small boards with bigger wheels tend to pick up on speed rather quickly and can go very fast.
