Save Having To Replace Clothing
The replacement zipper slider worked great, well worth purchasing it! I used it on a fleece jacket that I thought I was going to have to throw away. The hardest part was removing the old slider, also I had to look up the instructions online because none are included in the kit.

Fast, easy, as described!
The Dritz Fix-A-Zipper works exactly as described! It took me less than 30 seconds to replace the zipper pull that was MISSING from my son's coat. I purchased this for a detachable coat hood...seems my son was playing with the zipper pull on that and lost it. As such, I did NOT need to remove a broken zipper pull as other people might, which made this whole process super quick and easy. Per the included instructions, you will need cutting pliers to remove a broken zipper pull IF that is your issue. If you purchase this product and do not realize in advance that you need special tools to remove an old/broken zipper pull in order to add a new zipper pull, then that could be incredibly frustrating. You also need to be sure you purchase the correct size replacement, as well as need to be sure to order the correct type (e.g. plastic molded vs. coiled). If you aren't sure, look for some photos of different types of zippers online to compare to the broken one you have. I got the size and type correct. I did try to use a ruler to measure the zipper teeth, but that did not seem very easy. I read most coat zippers are a size 5, that was what I purchased and it was correct. Not having one to go off of, I guessed on the color of the hood zipper pull based on the color of the primary zipper pull on my son's coat (which was more of a dark silver pull on a navy plastic molded zipper). I purchased this product in gunmetal. As the zipper on the hood and the primary coat zipper are not next to each other, it is really not noticeable. The gunmetal blends with the navy plastic zipper really well. If you have a colored, plastic zipper and are purchasing this zipper pull in a metal color, it's never going to be the same color as the plastic zipper anyway, so my suggestion is to go with what you like. You are likely to be the only person who notices it is not the original color.

Cheap and Simple enough
Simple and easy, but does take a bit of finesse due to how it opens. Had 2 jackets with both zippers that fell off (one old another newer) searched a few days then came across these. After double checking which type of zipper I needed, they finally came in. The downsides: it has no instructions, after a few Google searches I found them and when pulling them up, if you aren't careful there is a zipper lock that may pick your finger. Other than that, They work for both of my jackets, but I don't recommend for an old jacket or a thin/flimsy material.

Saved my bag from its demise
This saved my favorite overnight bag when the original pull broke. Opening the pull was a little tricky but once it was in place and snapped shut, it worked perfectly. This was the cheapest option out of similar products and it is made by Dritz, a well known component for sewing items. Excellent.

It’s useless.
I installed it as per instructions. It’s the rigtt he size - based on the picture and also because my original piece also said 5 on the back. But the zipper sizes don’t lock. It slides fine, it almost looks like they closed. But they don’t lock. They are in great shape and actually my old zipper works fine on them and they lock fine, it’s just that the pulling part fell off so I wanted to replace it.

Brilliant! It fixed my Land’s End Fleece in 2 minutes!
This worked wonderfully; the round plastic tab thing was missing as the package wasn’t fully sealed but it didn’t matter I just used needle nose pliers to gently open the slider body. In my case I have a missing tooth on the zipper and if I’m careful I can zip the slider past that missing tooth (see photo). This fleece is part of a Land’s End coat system that has my professional certification patch on it so not easily replaced for less than $$$ because it’s a special business division order with them, so eventually I’ll get the zipper on the fleece replaced but right now, this works great and if my zipper was not missing a tooth I would expect this slider to last the remaining life of the coat system.

Added new life to my winter jacket!
This zipper head attached easily to my jacket. It was a little hard to open with the attachement. I thought I might break it, but with extra pressure it opened fine. a 15 plus year old jacket now has new life! Would recommend this well made product!

GREAT!
Great product. I measured 5+ millimeters when I tried to put the zipper teeth together and assumed it would fit size 5. Googled instructions and installed in under 2 minutes! Glad I purchased.

If you need a size 4 this is NOT a size 4.
I ordered based on the listing name AND description - chalking up the photo saying size 5 to simply mean they didn't want to take a photo a whole new photo of the size 4 because what's the difference. Nope. They took a photo of size 5 because that's what they're selling and incorrectly listed the size, to get another sale maybe? Dunno but lesson learned. I went from a zipper that was a bit of a pain to close, to a zipper that doesn't close at all. Very annoying and disappointed in myself having given the listing name and description the benefit of the doubt.
