RAM MOUNTS X-Grip Car Phone Mount with Low-Profile Twist-Lock Cup

It just works. I can tell it will be very durable as compared to cheaper solutions bought previously (Used them until they broke). The suction base design is nice - small footprint, but it really holds. I've used this on my 74 mph bass cat boat (Puma), my golf cart and my GX470. So far, it's performed flawlessly. The only criticism is that it can be hard to position the phone holder at the right viewing angle, but this is relatively minor and would probably be remedied with buying an additional armature component. Wonderful product all in all. Not cheap, but not insanely expensive when this will work well for number of years. If you're looking at this product, just get it. I bought a bunch of other cheaper solutions while eye-balling this product. I should have just bought this in the first place! I'm actually about to buy a second one so I don't have to move this one around between vehicles all the time.

You've probably purchased at least 2 other cell phone holders for your car. Together they probably cost what one Ram mount costs. This will be the last cell phone holder you will buy. It actually does what it says it will. And yes, the suction cup actually works!! It is extremely durable and worth every penny! It is easy to assemble and Ram makes it easy to swap out parts to customize your experience, easy to replace missing parts or create an entirely new holder all together. A must purchase especially for those who live in totalitarian states like mine who have made it illegal to hold your cell phone while driving.

I have been using RAM mounts for years. I mostly use the RAM mounts for business purposes but these are also great for all of your vehicles. The suction power is second to none. I have never had one fall off due to lost suction. The construction of these mounts are solid and strong. I feel the price point for these quality mounts are in the right price range. I have used many other brands in the past and I can honestly say these are the best out there. RAM also makes many other mounting options for many other devices that need mounting in any vehicle or boat.

It IS a slightly steep price point. But, it is a modular outdoors mounting system. The product is robust and strong. The suction cup is great, the locking mechanism just added extra security and pressure. I have a s23 ultra. If I remove the gripping boots my phone, in a defender case barely fits. If I didn't have a case it might fit. I already gave it to the person who asked me to order it. I happened to order a spare. I'll likely gift it to someone because it is actually a great system. The packaging coming with a small vial of adhesive(glue) incase you really need to stick it to something. Windshield usage is a dream. It's a ball and socket mounting system without telescope capabilities. Keep that in mind. Overall I am impressed with the product.

I am a diverse truck driver. I drive spotter/yard truck, and drive a commercial truck. I have gone through A LOT of phone mounts. They are all plastic, and are prone to breaking. For those of you who know about the yard trucks, they aren't much for comfort; they bounce around a lot. Because of this, many phone mounts have broken. My RAM Mount is is holding up, I am impressed with how well this thing stays mounted to the window, and how well it holds my phone. Pros: It suctions to the window well (even in temperature diverse conditions) It keeps the phone mounted (the gravity clamp is well designed) Cons: The price is a little high, but well worth it. It can be a pain to get the phone out of the mount (is that even a con though?). 5/5 stars

I saw this mount at the Apex show in Vegas a couple of years ago and I’ve always been going to get one. I finally did works really well because I can change it from one vehicle to another and not have it fall off the windshield because it doesn’t stick well my phones get, a lot of abuse and so that my phone mounts I guide Jeep tour in Moab Utah, and they are continually bouncing around in the Jeep and this is the only one I’ve found. They will actually hold it to the windshield in place.

I use this on my pontoon. Was concerned with it sticking to the plastic. So far no issues. Great suction and durable. Fully adjustable. I have a iPhone 17 Pro Max with a case on it. Little tight but still fits.

Best phone holder ever. I operate heavy machinery and this is the only phone holder that puts up the job over bumps etc. Well worth the money. Great adjustability too and suction is perfect.

I bought this product to hold my phone in the car. This has to be the best car windscreen phone cradle I've ever bought. Very sturdy and strong and so easy to use. Fits Samsung Galaxy 8 nicely.... quite expensive to buy but worth it if it lasts.

Generally works ok, suction cup has popped off a couple of times though. So wouldn't recommend for an application where suction cup failure would mean loss off attached device. Also even when all tightened up there is a little bit of free rotational movement in the last joint.

Iv been wanting one of these for a while now and I’m definitely not disappointed. I’m using it in an excavator and it doesn’t bounce around like previous phone holders. It arrived 2 days early but was missing the central piece. Rang the supplier and the missing piece was with me the very next day, so 10/10 for customer service too! I was most impressed.
