for iPhone 7 Screen Replacement 4.7', 3D Touch Display Full HD Repair kit, Digitizer Assembly with Tools Set, Tempered Glass, Instruction(White)

I have plenty of experience replacing iPhone screens and this is the best quality screen I have ever used. Touch sensitivity seems to be the exact same as the original screen. The color temperature is slightly blue, but that's easily fixed by making sure "Night Shift" is always enabled on the lowest setting. Contrast is possibly slightly lower, but it's not noticeable unless you're looking for it AND have another iPhone with an original screen beside it. Also, this is the first screen that I've installed that the plastic bezel actually fits perfectly with the rest of the phone. It was helpful that I didn't have to transfer over the old LCD back plate (although I did have to transfer the home button and earpiece/proximity/ambient light/front camera flex assembly). And the adhesive to seal everything up was a great help as well. The tools were ok, I've used better feeling ones, but these got the job done just fine. The only tool you'll have to supply is a heat gun or hair dryer to loosen up the old adhesive when taking the old screen off. My only complaint so far is that there are pressure spots when pressing hard in the center of the screen (they go away immediately after letting off of the screen. It's such a minor complaint that I still believe this earns 5 stars.

I have ordered many screens from Amazon (about 140 to 150) and have encountered varying degrees of quality concerning the screen and accompanying tool kits. The tool kits used to be junk but seem to be improving. I cannot say enough good things about this screen and toolkit! The screen comes with a camera centering ring in place as well as a proximity sensor frame! These are pieces that I always had to scavenge off of the old screens and tediously apply adhesive to to stick back in place on the new screens. This is the first time that I received a screen with those included. This also includes both an adhesive gasket and a screen protector glass—-things that I would usually have to order separately for about an additional 10-15 dollar cost combined. This is a very nice addition! The toolkits are excellent and this is the first working-worthwhile triwing screwdriver that I have received with a screen. This alone is impressive. This will now be my #1 choice for replacement screens!

Installed it worked fine but it did not last long before it started acting up, Delays in touching areas of the screen.. and then it broke without being dropped. One day I started it and the screen was all dead and pixelated.

Great kit, easy to use tools and instructions. Highly recommend following an iFixit tutorial for a repair. Only negative is that the screen is heavier on the blue values and doesn’t quite have the same screen quality with blacks when watching videos as an OEM screen.

Solid product. The included tools were surprisingly good, the tri-wing did grab the Y screws that my old driver couldn’t catch. This is only screen and digitizer. You have to transplant both Fingerprint reader and camera/speaker assembly. I bungled the speaker, but I guess that was me being impatient/hamhanded. Colors are solid, digitizer works ok.

I’m not happy. I spent over an hour carefully replacing the screen only to have the new screen crack as I was placing it back into the body. Now I need to order a replacement for the replacement. My suggestion is to be very careful when seating the new screen into the body of the phone. The metal frame has to be perfectly aligned, so doublecheck there are no parts of the metal frame that are bent, as was the case with mine, which is what caused the screen to crack. Other than the imperfection with the metal frame, the rest of the replacement screen seemed of good quality and the touch sensitivity and screen color seem close to factory. The provided tools were mostly excellent, with the exception of the plastic pry tool, which was too soft and was unusable.

I can't complain about the generousity in this kit for this price, but I can say I'm not too pleased about a couple of issues.....the screen cable had a sharp crease/fold (damage?) on the first one shipped to me with dirty fingerprints all over the back and front. Pentalobe screwdriver too small--did not fit the screws snugly at all. So I called Amazon and they replaced but guess what? The second kit same exact thing so i wrote seler (DIY) and they said not to worry about fold in ribbon cable and just use screwdriver as-is. Not a very concerned response IMHO but again, I'm not complaining about the price point for what is included, just know that customer service isn't all there when there's a problem so they get 3 stars. I cartainly hope the cable-fold doesn't mean trouble when installing for all the work involved!

There are little details here and there that aren't up to par with the original screen, but for the money it is really quite good. Definitely satisfied overall with the purchase. That said, the first screen I got rendered my proximity sensor useless. When I made a call the screen didn't turn off when I held my phone to my ear like it is supposed to. Very annoying problem that led to accidentally pressing the speaker phone, mute, FaceTime and hangup buttons. Upon closer inspection the replacement screen didn't have the same "peep hole" tint for the sensor like the original had. I wrote to the vendor and they shipped me a second screen with 2 day delivery free of charge. The second screen did have a tinted proximity sensor window and it worked! So perhaps they're learning and improving quality of screens as they go along. Only had it for a few days so we'll see how it holds up over time.
