Despite being battery operated, the battery life is excellent. We've been using them daily for around 4 months before needing to change the batteries, so I certainly haven't found them to drain batteries quickly. They look very clean and modern, and the additional holder is a really nice touch. It helps catch any excess salt or pepper after use, rather than leaving it all over the worktop. They're also very quick and easy to refill. My only real complaint is that I'd prefer the containers to be a little larger, as they do need refilling more often than I'd like. Overall, they're very convenient for everyday use, look good on the kitchen worktop and have much better battery life than I expected from battery-operated grinders. For the money, I'd definitely recommend them.
