🚀 Elevate your flow game with precision and power — the valve that works as hard as you do!
The U.S. Solid 1/4 in Motorized Ball Valve is a robust, NSF certified lead-free 304 stainless steel valve designed for potable water and food-grade applications. Featuring a full-port 8mm bore for unrestricted flow and a compact 1/4 inch NPT body, it handles pressures up to 145 psi. Its 2-wire normally closed motorized design operates on a wide 9-24V AC/DC range, opening or closing in seconds with an internal limit switch to prevent overheating. The IP65 rated enclosure ensures durability against dust and water spray, supporting up to 100,000 cycles, making it ideal for irrigation, HVAC, and RV plumbing systems.

Fantastic valves. With 1 small issue.
I've had about 5 of these pumping antifreeze for years. Thousands and thousands of gallons without fail. This will be the first replacement, and it isn't really even the fault of the valve. They have an issue with water intrusion if used in open air, it may take 5 years but it will happen. Solution? Drill a tint hole under the motor to allow any water to escape. Also, seal the top with a tiny bead of RTV. If you do that there is no reason this valve left outside, shouldn't last 10yrs+.

Well made and easy to install
I needed to automate the flush valve our our sediment filter, to open for one minute once a week. Since there was a sprinkler timer nearby I needed a value that was energized to open and automatically closes when deenergized. And because of the large amount of sediment in the flush water I needed a ball valve instead of a solenoid valve. So this particular valve is perfect. I opens quickly when actuated from a standard sprinkler controller, and closes reliably when the sprinkler controller removes power. It has standard 1/2" pipe threads and installs easily. It's worth noting that this valve does not have a way to manually activate it, but I can use the manual mode of the sprinkler controller for that. It's only been installed a few weeks, but so far it's running perfectly.

I plan to use this valve for emergency water shut-off during a power outtage, flood sensor trigger, or a major earthquake.
Nice for the price. Much less cost than dedicated water main shut-off valves with a Zigbee or Z-Wave automation interface. You will need a power pack to maintain current to this valve and keep it open. Purchase that separately plus any power switch control that you will have the power pack plugged into for your home automation. Plan to use this valve for emergency water main shut-off during a power outage, flood sensor triggered in the house or garage, or during an earthquake. My water pipes are embedded in my floor cement slab, so I am anticipating the possibility of a break if we have a severe earthquake someday here in Southern California. This valve will shut off through my home automation or security system when a vibration from an earthquake is detected, or one of my five water flood sensors are triggered from my security system. During a normal infrequent power outage I will need to have a 12 VDC battery to open the valve. This valve uses very little current once it is open to maintain the 'Open' state, but it will not remain open without power being applied, nor does this valve have a manual override to open it. You much apply power to it. It does operate with between 9VDC and 24VDC so you could probably open it with a 9VDC battery if need be in an emergency. A small 12VDC gel battery which is maintained by a small battery maintainer solar panel could also be used along with a manual switch to apply the DC power if power is lost to the wall outlet for the power pack. Then manual operation of the valve could be possible without the home automation or outlet power working.

Great
Bought 11 of these. I'm running water at 60psi thru these valves. Powering with 24vac 3.0amp transformer. The well feeding these valves is full of heavy sediment. It spits out mud water and small 1mm-3mm rocks on the regular. For the first 6 weeks: Each one cycled 5 times a day for 6 weeks. For the next 2 weeks: Each one cycled 3 times a day, After the first 8 weeks: Each one now cycles twice every other day. All 11 valves are still working great and I haven't had any problems with any of them. If something changes with their reliability, I'll update my review. Will I buy more? yep

Irrigation water shut off
My irrigation water is now metered, so I wanted some way of having it shut off by default so that it won't run 7x24 unnoticed at 10 gallons/minute if a pipe breaks or valve gets stuck or hose gets left on. Installed this on the main line and attached to 'pump' contact on a sprinkler timer. Unfortunately, this valve takes more current than the timer could provide, but a 24v relay solved that problem. I like how this valve is "default no power"= OFF. The only potential problem is that this valve is not waterproof on the outside. Thought of mounting above grade, but **fingers crossed** it's not for now.

It works, now
When I got the valve I hooked it up to a remote relay switch and hooked a 12 Volt battery to the other side of the switch. When I pressed the on button on the key fob the valve opened(about 4 to 5 seconds to open fully) and when I pressed the off button on the key fob the valve closed(4 to 5 seconds to close). So I installed it on my softwash manifold, put it in a water proof box, wired to the relay and the relay to the battery. When I pressed the On button on the key fob the valve opened fine; however, when I pushed the Off button nothing happened. I rechecked wiring, everything was correct. Next I took cover off of the valve, and inside I found a circuit board, and large blue capacitor or something laying loose on the board. It appeared that whoever assembled the valve neglected to solder in the capacitor. After tinning the through holes on the board and soldering the capacitor in the valve works fine.

Works great with Alexa paired with cheap wifi smart switch
Really like these valves; but buy the models WITHOUT the manual override knob (it doesn't seat properly and then makes the electronic valve useless). I have connected several of these (indoors) to cheap basic Wi-Fi Wireless Smart Switches that link to Alexa, and now I can turn on spigots and set water timers from anywhere. I put a 5th gen Echo Dot (has built-in thermometer and now allows tasks based on temperature) in my barn, and created a routine that any time the temp falls below 36 the water to the barn turns off inside the house; and the water lines in the barn open to drain their water. I can turn on the water to my cattle trough and just say as I leave the barn "Alexa turn off cattle trough water in 15 minutes" and she does. Same with water sprinklers, etc.

Excellent product. works flawlessly
Very fast shipping from the US to Canada, received in a few days. Works great, have it hooked up to the main line Inside going to my underground sprinklers, so water pressure is not always on the outside zone valves. It's hooked up to the Master Valve out or pump 24 volt AC on the controller, When any zone is called for watering, it will open the Main motorized Ball Valve.
