My go-to shoe for tennis and pickleball
I'm impressed with Adidas Barricade. Enough so that I purchased 3 different colors of this shoe. I find the fit of this shoe to be great for my wider feet. The lace design allows me to control the width and pressure of the uppers nicely around my foot and they are easy to take on and off. I sized up 1/2 size, and these are perfect. Visually the shoe looks larger than it is due to the back of midsole protruding outwards in the back, but I recommend sizing up a 1/2 size. The cushioning is perfect on these shoes; comfortable without being bulky and provides enough stability for great court movement. I forget I have them on when playing, which is really all you want. I can't speak for the durability of the outsole, but I have more than enough traction on the court and can make quick movements and changes of direction with no issues. The only minor knock on the shoe is the material on the interior of the shoe around the padding. It has a texture to it which I believe helps lock-down of the heel, but the material is slightly abrasive so I can see this eating into your socks after a while. You don't feel it while wearing, but don't be surprised if your socks start to pill around the achilles area.. First world problems..

Excellent Shoe
I've been dealing with foot pain when playing racquet and pickle ball and these shoes are helping reduce the strain quite a bit.The fit is snug but comfortable and the shoe base is super stable and cushioned just enough to be comfortable without being too springy. I also appreciate the heel 'cup' that locks the heel in place and keeps it from sliding out or up as many other shoes do which helps plantar issues. Comfortable out of the box too with no break-in required.Pricey and hard to find a working size/color combo, but worth it.

Lasted me 6 months (as expected)
I play pickleball 3 to 4 times a week and I drag my toes. This shoe lasted me almost exactly 6 months (Jul 12 to Jan 7). This is an awesome amount of time compared to other brands I wore before. It is comfortable enough for a court shoe, it is definitely not something I'd wear every day for just walking about. I am a size 13 and found this to be a great fit (true to size). I always remove the insole that comes with the shoe and replace it with a better support one - that was easy to do with this shoe. Highly recommend!

pickleballers choice !!
It looks attractive . it is extremely comfortable and size was perfect. The craftsmanship appears to be good but only time will tell the durability. all the foot pain i had wearing running shoes to play pickle ball disappeared when I put these on. The price was acceptable. My one gripe is as a sports shoe I wish Adidas would lose the laces and set a new trend for court shoes as they did with the Adapt series because laces are a hazard and old tech in my opinion

Decent shie
Shoe has good grip however after a few hours of pickleball I had a blister below my ankle. The ankle design cut into my dominant foot.

Great higher quality pickleball shoe
These shoes fit correctly to size. The angled lace up area does help the shoe flex more at the ball of the foot. I wore them yesterday a bit to get a feel for them and then 8 league pickleball games today. They are really good comfortable shoes that feel broke in after an hour. They have good arch support and a solid base. Traction is good indoors or outdoors. Will be getting one of the other colors. They are just a little cheaper than comparable ASICS court shoes but a bit more comfortable. Good value.

Great shoe - runs smaller on fit
I have been wearing Barricades for 10 years now - good shoe. I would recommend ordering 1/2 size larger on new shoes as the latest version runs smaller.

, worst tennis shoe on the market. Avoid at all cost.
0 out of 5 stars. Worst tennis shoe I have ever owned. Outsole wore completely through at toe faster than shoes 3 times cheaper. Only played for 3.5 months at about 2.5 hours a week. Even worse than their shoe quality is their customer support. When contacting Adidas under their 6-month warranty, I was given the run around and only refunded a portion of my order. I will never buy from Adidas ever again, and strongly recommend you never purchase tennis shoes from them. How they can sell this shoe for $150 and have it blow out in 3-4 months is beyond me. Will go back to Asics gel resolution which last me a year.

Asymmetric lacing
Love, love, love these. First, superb fit and stability, second, accommodates any toe joint issues (hallux rigidus) because of asymmetric lacing. Please keep these in stock.
