Not for sure about the model # however I can verify that it works with my Dell Inspiron 7559. Tried an adapter from family member but wouldn't work due to low wattage. This adapter has the correct amount of watts for my Inspiron 7559.

You really need the 150w adapter, Dell Part Number PA5M10. It will work best.

How does that strap in the middle connect to itself?

the strap has a series of holes in it and the end of it has a small "button that goes through the hole. It works great until the rubber starts to deteriorate and the little holes tear through.
