They dont work you need to buy batteries as well. Refund to Amazon account not original card.
It's shipped very risky with minimum if any packaging paper... and the Amazon Renewed is obviously a scam.... as I bought 2 of theses & both have defective batteries. And they both will not work. So I had to order 2 batteries to install myself from guess who Amazon. Extra $20 so now an outdated controller cost more than my newer console controllers... Why not just send it back? Glad you asked, Amazon Renewed only credited the refund to their Amazon Account not to my original Chase Card. So by default I can only order additional defective merchandise from them... waiting on some batteries for a joystick from 20 years ago.. and hopefully they function then!! Or I'll have to return 4 items for Account credit.

Faulty battery
Sure, here’s a more polished and helpful rewrite of that Amazon review: Shipping was slower than expected. When the item finally arrived, it wouldn’t power on or charge. Fortunately, I had a spare battery on hand—after swapping it out, the device worked fine. Still, shipping a product with a faulty battery feels careless and unprofessional. Quality control needs improvement.

Works well for the price just know what you are buying
Going in knowing this is a renewed product makes the expectations more realistic and for the price it delivers. The controller functions fine, pairs properly, and the motion tracking works as it should for PS3 games. Just be aware that with renewed items the battery life might not be what it was originally so having a charger handy is a good idea. It did not come with a charging cable which is a minor annoyance but easy enough to work around. If you need a spare or replacement Move controller and do not want to pay full price for a new one this is a solid option.

I was very happy
My son needed a new motion controlled for his PS3 and I finally found a refurbished one on here. It works perfectly and he is so happy to have one to play his games with.
